Our school successfully hosted a one-day CBSE COE WEST District Level Deliberation (DLD) on "Computational Thinking and Artificial Intelligence: An Interdisciplinary Approach at the Middle School Level" on 21 May 2026.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from 15 educators from across Delhi, who shared their innovative ideas, research findings and classroom practices on various sub-themes related to Computational Thinking and AI integration in education.
The presentations were reviewed and appreciated by the esteemed Appreciation Committee comprising of Ms. Ankita Kapoor, Ms. Meenakshi Aneja, Ms. Komal Chauhan, Respected Principal Sir Mr. Prashant Sahgal and the School Headmistress Ms. Ridhima Kharyal.
The presenters were evaluated on key parameters such as methodology, reliability, scalability, innovation, implementation and overall impact. The deliberations provided a valuable platform for educators to exchange ideas, reflect on emerging educational practices, and explore meaningful ways to integrate Computational Thinking and AI into teaching and learning.
The event concluded on a highly enriching note, fostering collaboration, professional growth, and a shared vision for future-ready education.

'Education is not the preparation for life; education is life itself.'

An Orientation Program for the students of Classes IX and X along with their parents was successfully conducted on 22 May 2026 at the school Hall of Hope.
During the program the school Principal, Mr. Prashant Sahgal, delivered an inspiring speech motivating students to follow the latest CBSE changes and guiding them to study with focus, discipline and determination to achieve success in life. He also encouraged parents to support their children in understanding these changes effectively.
Thereafter, teachers shared important information on various aspects such as school activities, the importance of the school diary, guidelines, school uniform, attendance rules and the use of digital platforms like MS Teams. In this way, parents and students were made clearly aware of the changes made by the CBSE.
The main objective of the program was to make parents and students aware of these changes so that they can guide their children accordingly and help them succeed in their academic journey.
At the end the Headmistress, Ms. Ridhima Kharyal, expressed her heartfelt gratitude to the Principal, parents, students and teachers for their presence and cooperation and emphasized the importance of continuous collaboration for the holistic development of students.
The program proved to be a significant step towards shaping a bright future for the students and strengthening the bond between the school, parents and students.

The 3rd Adarsh Open Taekwondo Championship was successfully organized on 18 - 19 May with great enthusiasm and sportsmanship. The event was graced by Mr. Luv Nijhawan, an avid sports enthusiast and management professional from DCE & FMS, as the Chief Guest.

The various schools from across Delhi participated in the championship, showcasing remarkable talent, discipline and determination. The young participants displayed immense zeal, confidence, and true sportsman spirit throughout the event.
The Overall Championship Trophy was proudly won by Adarsh Public School, Vikas Puri while the Runner-Up Trophy was bagged by G.D. Goenka Public School, Paschim Vihar.
The championship proved to be a grand success, encouraging students to imbibe the values of perseverance, teamwork, and dedication through sports.

Adarsh Public School, Bali Nagar proudly participated in Project Rangmanch 2026, an initiative organized by Rotary Interact District 3011 at M L Khanna DAV Public School on 19th May 2026.

The students with the supporting staff of the school showcased a powerful and thought-provoking Nukkad Natak (Street Play) performance on a socially relevant theme. The performance reflected excellent teamwork, confidence, creativity, and strong stage presence. The students captivated the audience with their impactful acting, expressions, and meaningful message.

The special performance received immense appreciation from the audience as well as the respected jury members. The judges highly praised the presentation, coordination, dialogue delivery, and the strong social message conveyed through the act.

Adding another feather to its cap, Adarsh Public School was felicitated with the First Prize in the Nukkad Natak category. The achievement brought great pride and joy to the school.

The Senior School Investiture Ceremony of Adarsh Public School was conducted with great zeal and dignity on Friday, 15 May 2026. The ceremony symbolized the trust and responsibility bestowed upon the newly elected Student Council members and inspired students to become confident and responsible leaders.
The event commenced with the gracious welcome of the distinguished guests including Chairman Mr. P. K. Sahgal, Chief Guest Captain Manmeet Singh Chadha, Founder Principal Ms. Usha Sahgal, Dr. Pooja Malhotra, Principal of Adarsh Public School, Ms. Neha Sahgal by the school Principal & Headmistress Ms. Ridhima Kharyal.
The program began with a soulful presentation by the school choir group followed by the school song that echoed the spirit and values of the institution. A vibrant dance performance added grace and enthusiasm to the celebration and captivated the audience.
The much-awaited investiture ceremony witnessed the badge distribution of the newly elected council members. The solemn oath-taking ceremony was administered by Headmistress Ms. Ridhima Kharyal, where the student leaders pledged to uphold the values, discipline and honour of the school with sincerity and dedication.
Ms. Rajneet Kaur, Junior Council Incharge explained the selection procedure of the Student Council and highlighted the fair and transparent process adopted for choosing deserving young leaders.
Addressing the gathering, Principal Mr. Prashant Sahgal encouraged the students to lead with confidence, honesty, discipline and compassion. Head boy Aditya Singh and Head girl Tanvi Jain expressed their views their journey from a little toddler to this prestigious post. The dignitaries congratulated the council members and inspired them to become role models for their fellow students.
The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt Vote of Thanks proposed by Ms. Jaspreet Kaur.

Chief Guest Captain Manmeet Singh Chadha congratulated all the council members and guiding them to be motivated responsible and dedicated leaders.
The Investiture Ceremony was truly a memorable occasion that reflected the school’s commitment towards nurturing future leaders and responsible citizens.

Rain Dance Party 🌧️

To beat the summer heat, a fun-filled Rain Dance Party was organized for the students of Bal Vatika 1 and Pre Primary on their last working day before the summer vacations.

The tiny tots looked adorable in their swim suits and enjoyed dancing, splashing, and twirling with colourful umbrellas. Smiles and laughter filled the air as the children participated wholeheartedly and had a wonderful time. ☔💦

The day became even more special with the presence of our Hon’ble Neha Ma’am, who joined the children in making the celebration joyful and memorable. 🌈😊

An engaging Grammar Quiz Competition was held on 15th May 2026 in the Hall of Hope during the 7th and 8th periods. Students of Class VI participated enthusiastically in various rounds, including vocabulary challenges and a visual round that tested their analytical and language skills.
The quiz covered important grammatical concepts and encouraged students to think critically, work as a team, and enhance their communication abilities. The event created a spirit of healthy competition and learning among the students.
The programme concluded with the announcement of winners and appreciation for all participants.

The “Young Innovative Tank” activity was successfully organized by the students of Class VIII in Adarsh public school.The programme commenced with a warm welcome of Principal, Mr.Prashant Sehgal and Headmistress, Ms.Ridhima kharyal.The event aimed to promote innovative thinking, scientific temperament, creativity, confidence, and teamwork among students.Students enthusiastically participated and showcased their innovative ideas through different working models, charts, presentations, and creative projects based on science, environment, technology, health, and social awareness. Their efforts reflected deep understanding, imagination, and practical application of knowledge.
The students confidently explained the objectives and working of their models before the audience. Many projects focused on important issues such as environmental conservation, renewable sources of energy, waste management, smart technology, water conservation, and cleanliness drives. The innovative ideas presented by the students impressed everyone and highlighted their problem-solving abilities and creative mindset.Principal Sir, Mr. Prashant Sehgal, appreciated the sincere efforts and creativity of the students. He motivated them to continue thinking innovatively and to use their knowledge for the betterment of society and the nation. The Talent Hunt Show for Class III was held at APS on 13.05.26 with great enthusiasm and excitement. Students showcased their talents through dance, singing, poetry, yoga, and other performances. The judgement was done on the basis of confidence, creativity, and overall performance. The judges appreciated the efforts and enthusiasm of all the participants. The winners were applauded and awarded for their excellent performances. The event concluded on a joyful and memorable note.
