Dr. Sneh Lata Singla-Pareek, Group Leader, Plant Stress Biology Group, ICGEB New Delhi, participated in a Research Coordination Meeting jointly organised by Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) & International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in Vienna. The meeting brought together experts to discuss innovative approaches to crop improvement, including electron, carbon-ion and proton-beam mutagenesis, space mutagenesis, and genomic selection—advancing the development of improved and resilient crop varieties.

We are delighted to announce that Dr. , Group Leader, Group ICGEB New Delhi has been elected as a Fellow of the prestigious Indian National Science Academy (INSA). With over 25 years of research in infectious diseases, Dr. Mohammed’s work focuses on the cell biology of malaria parasites, with the aim of identifying novel drug targets and developing new antimalarial strategies. His election to is a distinguished recognition of his sustained contributions to malaria research and biomedical science.
