Jagan Institute of Management Studies has been highly successful in organizing IT Symposium every year on emerging technologies. The 14th IT symposium “TECHBYTE 2017 – Leadership through innovations in Computing Technologies” was held on 14th October 2017 at Sapphire Hall, Crowne Plaza, sec-10, Rohini. The focus was on proven technologies that have matured beyond the R&D stage, having wide applications.

The Symposium is a platform for MCA students to gain knowledge about various technologies that are surrounding us. The Key focus areas of TECHBYTE 2017 were IOT Security, Big data engineering, Artificial intelligence etc. Eminent speakers from renowned IT organizations impart great knowledge on these technologies which can be used by students in various fields of information technology. Also the introductory articles on these Key focus areas of the event written by MCA students under the mentorship of JIMS Faculty are put together in the IT magazine called INSIGHT 2017.
