Today on 3,September,2016 NEPTUNE will be at opposition i.e NEPTUNE will be at the closest to the earth today as compared to any other time of the year and will be visible all night long......thou as it is very far from earth it will only be visible like a blue dot in telescopes except the most powerful telescopes..

Today I completed 2 years of my asteroid discovery with A***n Mishra....can still hear the claps!!!!

JUNO(Jupiter Near-polar Orbiter) a sattelite lanched by NASA on 5th August,2011.
It is planned to reach on Monday(4th July,2016).
JUNO will help the researchers to study Jupiter's composition, gravity field, magnetic field and Polar Magnetosphere.
It will also search about how jupiter was formed and also look for water in atmosphere.
Congratulations NASA - National Aeronautics and Space Administration !!

It was really great to witness the launch from the site.
I thank Dr.Deviprasad(Director) and Dr.Guruprasad(PRO) to invite us to witness the launch.
It was a great experience....
It was my first time watching a rocket launching and disappearing from the eye to the deep sky!
Me along with 3 other friends got the chance to have dinner with the Director and PRO!

Tomorrow at 9:26 IST PSLV-C34 will be launched from Shriharikota,India by ISRO.
I'm really lucky and grateful that I with my 3 other friends will be able to see the launch 8Km away from the site which is the nearest any person can go.
And we will be siting with the VIPs .
In this launch ISRO will be sending 20 satellites out of which one is of ISRO and others are of USA,Indonesia,Canada and Germany.
This is a really Proud moment for us.

Today was a great day I met Dr.Kiran Kumar chairman of ISRO (in the first picture) and B.R Guruprasad who is the communicator and Public Relations Executive at ISRO(in the second picture)
