Sport requires PASSION and DEDICATION. These words also remind us of a famous legend, "Mr.Dhyan Chand", who is regarded as the Nation's Greatest Hockey Player of all time. Popularly known as "THE WIZARD" for his magical touch, superb control, creativity, and extraordinary goal-scoring feats. Major Dhyan Chand was instrumental in taking Indian hockey to greater heights under his talismanic leadership.
On August 29,2020, Bharat National Public School celebrated National Sports Day on the birth anniversary of Hockey Legend, Major Dhyan Chand to spread awareness on the importance of sports and fitness in everyone’s life.
Department of P.E. & Sports in collaboration with Department of Visual Arts of BNPS and HES, organised Sports Quiz to spread awareness about sports, it's importance and some interesting facts related to it. In addition to the quiz Drawing & Painting Competition was also organised to build a connection of children with sports on the themes 'My favorite Sports' for Grades 2nd-5th and 'Future of Sports in India' for Grades 6th-12th.
Both children and staff participated enthusiastically and performed well. Congratulations to all the participants. 👏👏
Even though the quiz had a good difficulty level, 2 children and a staff member managed to score 100%. We extend heartiest congratulations to all of you.

Ashoka University in association with Bharat National Public Schol & BNPS International is coming up with a Live Session on Liberal Education in India on this Saturday at 1.30 PM.
