🎉 DTU Central Library successfully conducted a Library Orientation Programme exclusively for faculty members and PhD scholars 🎓 of the Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Delhi Technological University.

🌟 The programme was held under the esteemed guidance of Prof. Neeta Pandey, HOD, Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, DTU 👩‍🏫, whose encouragement made this initiative a meaningful success.

👨‍🏫 The session was conducted by Mr. Mukul (Speaker & Counter Assistant), with the invaluable support of Dr. Lalita, Assistant Librarian, DTU Central Library 📖.

Attendees were introduced to the library's extensive collection of resources 📚, cutting-edge digital databases 🖥️, research tools 🔍, and specialised scholarly services, including APC (Article Processing Charges) 📌 — guidance on availing APC waivers and funding support for Open Access publishing 🌍; ONOS (One Nation One Subscription) 📰 — free access to thousands of international journals under India's landmark initiative; and Shodhchakra 🎓 — the UGC-INFLIBNET platform for PhD thesis tracking, management, and submission — all curated to advance scholarly excellence 🌟.

🎓 Information Literacy Workshop | Final Day

The final day of the 10th Edition of E-Resources: A Gateway for Research (Information Literacy Workshop) at DTU Central Library was an insightful, engaging, and enriching conclusion to five days of research-oriented learning. 🔍📖

The day began with a warm welcome by Dr. Lalita, Assistant Librarian & Coordinator, Central Library, setting the stage for the final day of knowledge sharing and exploration of valuable scholarly resources.

🔹 Session 1 — Taylor & Francis India
🎙️ Resource Person: Ms. Anjuli Gupta

The first session introduced participants to the Taylor & Francis research platform and its scholarly resources, with a focus on:

📚 E-Journals & E-Books
• Exploring scholarly journals across diverse disciplines
• Accessing Taylor & Francis e-books and academic literature
• Discovering relevant resources to support literature reviews and research
• Exploring research content for teaching, learning, and academic work

🔹 Session 2 - Oxford University Press India
🎙️ Resource Person: Mr. Vinay Sood and Rahul Kumar

The second session provided an overview of Oxford University Press (OUP) resources, helping participants explore:

📖 Scholarly journals and academic publications
🔎 Discovering authoritative research literature
📚 Exploring resources across diverse academic disciplines
💡 Using academic resources to support teaching, learning, and research

🌐 One Nation One Subscription (ONOS)

The sessions also provided an opportunity to understand the One Nation One Subscription (ONOS) initiative and its role in improving access to scholarly information and research resources for users across participating institutions.
