Rashtriya Ayurveda Vidyapeeth (RAV), New Delhi, successfully conducted a Six-Day Residential Training Programme at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University (DSRRAU), Jodhpur, from 10–15 August 2026, focusing on practical skills, clinical competency and experiential learning in Ayurveda.
The programme was inaugurated at Sushruta Auditorium by Padma Shri and Padma Vibhushan awardee Vaidya Devendra Triguna, in the presence of Dr. Vandana Siroha, Director, RAV; Prof. (Vaidya) Govind Sahay Shukla, Vice Chancellor, DSRRAU; Vaidya Rakesh Sharma, Former Chairman, Board of Ayurveda; and Vaidya Manoj Nesari, Former Advisor, Ministry of Ayush.
The training was led by eminent CharakAyatan experts—Vaidya Devendra Singh Chahar- Hod - Samhita Siddhant, Vaidya Rakesh Sharma, Vaidya Manoj Nesari, Vaidya S. K. Khandelwal, Vaidya S. N. Sharma, Vaidya Jaiprakash Ram, and Vaidya Chandan Singh. A total of 52 Vaidyas selected from across the country participated in the programme, gaining hands-on exposure to classical Ayurvedic principles and practical applications.
A special session on “Prevention of Sexual Harassment at Workplace (POSH) and Artificial Intelligence in Ayurveda” was organised jointly by CHRD, DSRRAU and Aatman Foundation, Lucknow, coordinated by Mr. Shashank Srivastava.
The programme featured theoretical sessions, practical demonstrations, interactive discussions and experiential learning .India’s was also celebrated at with patriotic spirit in the presence of university officials, faculty, experts and participants.
The valedictory ceremony marked the successful culmination of the programme, reaffirming RAV’s commitment to strengthening practical competency and advancing authentic knowledge and practice.
