As part of its Study @ Abroad initiative, the Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell (ACCGC) organised a series of in-person information sessions on “Study in Canada” across the Amity Group of Schools, bringing global education opportunities closer to our students.
The sessions featured Ms. Tanushree Bhattacharya, International Student Advisor, The University of British Columbia, Canada, who offered students an authentic glimpse into the Canadian university experience — from academics and co-op opportunities to exchange programmes, scholarships, application pathways and campus life. Students also gained guidance on writing a strong college application essay and preparing for university interviews.

The opportunity to hear directly from an international university advisor made the conversation more relatable, allowing students to ask questions, explore their interests and understand the possibilities that lie ahead.

For students of Classes XI–XII, the experience was not simply about learning how to apply to Canada; it was about imagining themselves living, learning and growing in a new academic and cultural environment.

The Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell (ACCGC) successfully conducted a series of Career Counselling Webinars for students of Classes IX–XII across AMITY GROUP OF SCHOOLS, equipping them with right tips to make informed academic and career decisions.

Through these initiatives, ACCGC continues to empower students with the knowledge, clarity, and confidence to navigate their academic journeys and build successful careers.

The Study @ UK Open House- University Fair organised by Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell, in collaboration with the British Council was the flagship event for Amity schools in Lucknow. It was hosted by Amity International School, Viraj Khand-5, Gomti Nagar Lucknow.

Bringing together 32 prestigious UK universities at Amity International School, Viraj Khand, Lucknow, the fair created a vibrant space where students and parents could engage directly with university representatives, ask questions, explore programmes, understand scholarships, and gain first-hand insights into studying in the UK.

The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students of Amity International School, Viraj Khand, Amity International School Vrindavan Yojna Lucknow, and Amity International School, Jagdishpur, who explored opportunities at some of the UK's most renowned institutions, including Imperial College London, The University of Edinburgh, University of Birmingham, University of Leeds, University of Greenwich, The University of Sheffield, and many more.

What stood out the most was the curiosity in every interaction—the thoughtful questions, the excitement of discovering new possibilities, and the confidence students gained as they explored pathways to some of the world's leading universities.

Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell, in collaboration with Amity International School Vrindavan Yojna, had the privilege of hosting Education New Zealand from the New Zealand High Commission to India for an engaging session on higher education opportunities in New Zealand.

Led by Ms. Bhupinder Kaur, Market Development Manager – India, Education New Zealand, the session encouraged students and parents to explore New Zealand's education ecosystem, student experience, career pathways, and the opportunities available beyond the classroom. What stood out most was the enthusiasm with which students engaged—asking thoughtful questions, exploring possibilities, and gaining clarity about their future aspirations.

For Amity Group of Schools, these interactions are more than events on a calendar. They are part of our continued commitment to connecting students with global education leaders, enabling them to make confident, well-informed decisions about their academic and career journeys.

Our students had an enriching experience participating in the BigQ Competition hosted by the The University of British Columbia, Canada. From brainstorming solutions without phones or internet access to presenting before judges under strict timelines, the competition challenged students to think creatively, work collaboratively, and communicate confidently.

The experience gave students a glimpse into global business-case learning and pushed them to step out of their comfort zones while learning from peers across teams. Watching them engage with such energy, confidence, and enthusiasm made the day truly rewarding.

We extend our sincere gratitude to the University of British Columbia, Canada and their faculty - Pam Nanson, Dr. Rajesh Vijayaraghavan & Dr. Stephen O'Leary for this wonderful opportunity and for creating such a meaningful learning experience for our students.

As part of the Amity Career Counselling & Guidance Cell's (ACCGC) Study initiative, we had the privilege of hosting a distinguished delegation from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford. - Ms Josephine Fawkes (Director of Global Inclusion and Youth Education, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford), and Mr. Anshul Sharma (Project Director, Saïd Business School, University of Oxford).

This session was organised for the students participating in the Oxford Said Global Climate Tech Challenge 2026 across all Amity Group of Schools. Ms Josephine & Mr Anshul gave an overview about the challenge and mentioned the key takeaways - including how entries are evaluated, what makes a strong project, and what to expect in the next stages.

This was followed by a Students and Counsellors Session on “Dos & Don’ts of University of Oxford Applications”, where students were guided on profile building, the importance of super-curricular activities, and the advantage of pursuing College Board (AP) courses.

Students participated enthusiastically and gained first-hand information directly from the source - a truly valuable opportunity for our students!

As part of the "Study Abroad Program", the Amity Career Counselling and Guidance Cell (ACCGC), in collaboration with Amity University, organized a session on “Global Opportunities with Amity.”

We were honored to host Prof. Gurinder Singh (Group Vice Chancellor, Amity Universities), who offered students valuable perspectives on global education pathways, emerging career trends, and the importance of aligning academic choices with future goals.

A key highlight was the introduction to Amity’s Twinning Program, enabling students to begin their studies in India and transition to international partner universities—opening doors to global exposure in a structured and accessible way.
The session was highly interactive and enriching, helping students better understand opportunities beyond borders and make informed decisions for their future.

We extend our sincere thanks to Prof. Gurinder Singh Sir and his team for such a wonderful session. We look forward to many more engaging interactions ahead!

As a part of our Study Abroad Initiative, Amity Career Counselling and Guidance Cell (ACCGC) organized informative sessions on “Study in Canada with University of Toronto”, offering students an in-depth understanding of academic opportunities at one of Canada’s leading institutions.

We were glad to host Ms. Harriet Pham, Recruitment Officer, University of Toronto, Canada, who shared an overview of student life, introduced the distinct features of its three campuses (Mississauga, St. George & Scarborough campuses), and walked students through the admission process—emphasizing the importance of academic merit.

She also spoke about the hands-on learning opportunities through internships and co-op programs, helping students envision a future of academic and professional growth at University of Toronto, Canada.
