Northern Chapter, The Indian Institute of Architects

The Event – SHE ALLIANCE - Leading Women in Consulting & Architecture : Shaping the Future of the Built Environment was held to celebrate International Women's Day 2025
at the SPA Auditorium on the 5th of March.
It was a collaboration between the Women of Four Organizations - Northern Chapter, The Indian Institute of Architects, Women's Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (WICCI Construction Council), Women in ISHRAE and School of Planning and Architecture, New Delhi.
A talk on Government schemes for Women Entrepreneurs by Mr Sunil Kumar, Asst. Director, MSME, Government of India was followed by a panel discussion on Energy Savings in Residential Buildings. The Northern Chapter was ably represented by Ar. Archana Khanna, Treasurer and Ar. Aruna Bharadwaj, Chairperson, Women Empowerment committee.

Dear Members,

Building Materials & Technology Promotion Council ( BMTPC ) and Northern Chapter, IIA are organizing the National Conference on Innovative Building Materials and Construction Technologies, to discuss and deliberate the new government initiatives in the field of building materials & construction practices for fast tracking large construction projects.

The specially curated knowledge sharing sessions shall provide opportunities to Architects to understand these innovative technologies and government experiences with implementation till date.

The conference shall facilitate Architects to align with the future of the Building Industry through interactions with policy makers, technology experts, other professionals in the Construction industry and Construction companies involved in executing this government initiative.

With profound grief, we inform the sad demise of Professor Ranjit Sabikhi, on Saturday, December 14, 2024, at 5:00 PM at his residence in Delhi.

The last rites will be performed on:
