Anganwadi workers from tribal pockets of Jhabua become digitally literate :
________________________________________________-
Around 200 Anganwadi workers from three blocks of tribal district of Jhabua in Madhya Pradesh have learnt to use computers and perform simple tasks like searching for information, sending mails, etc, due to efforts by VLE Ramesh Nathusingh Paliya.

VLE Ramesh started the NDLM training on July 7, 2015, as part of Digital India Week celebrations. He set up three centres in Ranapur, Jhabua and Rama blocks of the district for providing NDLM training to Anganwadi workers. He approached the District Programme Officer (DPO) of ICDS, who further instructed the CDPOs to mobilize Anganwadi workers for the training. For the convenience of Anganwadi workers, classes were arranged in three batches of morning, afternoon and evening.

VLE Ramesh now wants to provide digital literacy training to tribal students of local schools and is planning to meet the principals in this regard soon.
