🌱 Plantation Drive at GD Goenka School, Mundka 🌿

GD Goenka Public School, Mundka, organised a joyful Plantation Drive with enthusiastic participation from students across the junior and senior grades. The event began with a prayer for a greener and healthier future.

Students brought saplings from home and planted them with the guidance of their teachers and school gardener, learning the importance of nurturing and caring for trees through this meaningful hands-on activity.

The drive was an enriching experience that inspired students to become responsible guardians of nature and contribute towards a cleaner, greener planet. 🌍🌱

Mission Poshan – Service Beyond Self in Action

At GD Goenka School, Mundka, education extends far beyond the classroom. As part of our ongoing Mission Poshan initiative, our Grade VIII students visited a local Anganwadi Centre, reaffirming our commitment to community welfare and the values of empathy, compassion, and social responsibility.

The visit was filled with meaningful interactions and impactful learning experiences. Students presented an engaging skit on the importance of safe drinking water, conducted an energetic Zumba session to promote fitness, monitored the children’s height and weight as part of a health awareness drive, and distributed nutritious food to support their well-being. They also interacted with parents, sharing valuable insights on nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle practices.

More than an outreach programme, Mission Poshan is a journey of nurturing compassionate leaders who understand the true essence of giving back to society. Through such initiatives, our students learn that real education lies in making a positive difference in the lives of others—living our motto, “Service Beyond Self.”

Empowering Young Minds with Safety Awareness 💛
At GD Goenka School, Mundka, the safety and well-being of our students remain our highest priority.
A Good Touch & Bad Touch Awareness Session was conducted by the school counselor for the students of Grades 1 & 2 with the objective of helping them understand personal safety, identify safe and unsafe touch, and confidently respond using the " *No, Go, Tell* " rule.
Through engaging presentations, educational videos, and interactive role-play activities, our young learners actively participated and gained valuable life skills in a safe, supportive, and age-appropriate environment.
Together, we empower children with awareness, confidence, and the courage to speak up. 🌟

Van Mahotsav Celebration

As part of the ongoing Van Mahotsav celebrations at GD Goenka School, Mundka, students enthusiastically participated in a series of meaningful activities, including Poster and Slogan Making, Paper Bag Making, and Letter Writing. Through creative artwork, impactful slogans, eco-friendly paper bags, and thoughtful letters, they expressed their commitment to protecting nature and promoting sustainable living. These engaging activities fostered environmental awareness, enhanced creativity and communication skills, and inspired students to become responsible citizens dedicated to building a greener and more sustainable future.
