On Ambedkar Jayanti, CISCE pays tribute to Dr. Bhimrao Ramji Ambedkar (1891–1956), a principal architect of India’s Constitution and one of the foremost thinkers on equality, justice and education.
Dr. Ambedkar viewed education not merely as access to knowledge, but as a means of enabling individuals to participate meaningfully in society. His emphasis on constitutional morality and social equity continues to resonate deeply within the educational landscape of India.
For institutions, his legacy is a reminder that education must go beyond instruction and foster critical thinking, dignity and equal opportunity for every learner.
