You can quote a single verse about keeping Torah, and someone will say, “Yeah, but…”

You can show Yeshua kept the Sabbath, and they’ll say, “But that was for the Jews.”

You can point out that Paul walked in obedience to the Torah, and they’ll still insist he taught against it.

People will believe a lie for years, just because a pastor said it once. No questions asked. No study. No testing. But when you show Scripture after Scripture, they suddenly want Greek word studies, church history, scholarly consensus, and a full dissertation before they’ll even consider it.

Why? Because the truth confronts comfort. Lies don’t.

It’s easier to believe “the Law was nailed to the cross” than to admit the church has misunderstood Paul.

It’s easier to say “we’re under grace, not law” than to study what Scripture actually says about grace teaching us to say no to sin (Titus 2:11–12).

It’s easier to quote “no one is justified by works” than to wrestle with the fact that faith without works is dead (James 2:26).

Yeshua said, “This people honors Me with their lips, but their heart is far from Me. And in vain do they worship Me, teaching as doctrines the commandments of men” (Mark 7:6–7).

The real problem isn’t a lack of evidence. It’s a lack of humility.

People aren’t defending Scripture. They’re defending their traditions. They hear the truth and immediately look for a way to dismiss it. That’s not testing the truth, that’s protecting a lie.

But the truth doesn’t need marketing. It doesn’t need to be trendy. It just needs people brave enough to believe it.

If you’re searching, don’t be afraid to question the things you were told not to question. That’s where real faith starts.
