*_You are not disabled by the disabilities you have, you are able by the abilities you have._*π«
If we condemn our problems with determination, we shall surely succeed. Rendering the will to overcome all fears and doubts and working on your dream to prove your worth to the world, is what makes you stand apart. Accepting the challenges in life and facing them with full dedication in how you excel. π
As a motive to spread awareness among the people, we at Jaagriti - The enabling unit of SGGSCC are here to aware you all some information about Glaucoma.π

The true measure of a person's character is not in how they handle their victories, but in how they handle their defeats." - Cricket Association of Blindπ
Jaagriti- The Enabling Unit of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce had the privilege of visiting the Cricket Association of Blind, where we were able to witness firsthand the incredible determination and skill of these visually impaired athletes as they competed on the field.π The energy and excitement in the stadium were palpable, as the players moved with precision and grace, despite their lack of sight.πͺπ
We were struck by the adaptions made to the game to accommodate for the players' visual impairments, such as the use of a ball with bells inside to aid in locating it and the use of voice commands from the umpire to indicate runs and wickets. It was truly inspiring to see these individuals overcoming their challenges and excelling in their sports.π―β¨
A special thank you to the Cricket Association of Blind for hosting us and giving us the opportunity to witness such an amazing event. π₯°β€οΈ

"The eyes may be the window to the soul, but for the visually impaired, it is through the heart that they see the world."π«
Jaagriti- The Enabling Unit of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce had the privilege of visiting the All India Confederation of the Blind (AICB) center, a non-profit organization dedicated to the welfare and empowerment of individuals who are visually impaired. The AICB provides its beneficiaries with a wide range of services, including education, training, rehabilitation, and employment opportunities.π―β¨
The organization offers training in daily living skills, such as mobility, Braille, and computer skills, as well as job placement assistance.π’ This allows blind individuals to gain the skills and confidence they need to live and work independently.π¨βπΌπͺ
In addition to providing direct services, the AICB also advocates for the rights and needs of blind individuals at the national and international level. They work to raise awareness of the challenges faced by blind individuals and to promote policies and programs that will improve their lives.ππ
Overall, our visit to the AICB center was truly inspiring.π₯° The dedication and hard work of the staff and volunteers is making a real difference in the lives of blind individuals.π―π
