*Field Installation Technician* *(Electronic Security Systems)*
The installation / Commissioning Engineer would be responsible for Installation, Testing, Commissioning, Troubleshooting, Maintenance of CCTV, Fire Alarm System, Access Control System & Intruder Alarm Systems
Responsibilities
1. Physical installation, troubleshooting, maintenance and repairs of access control and CCTV systems including the required infrastructure, equipment, trim-out and programming of devices.
2. Proficient in termination different forms of industry cabling including cat5e, cat6 and coaxial
3. Knowledge of both analog and IP CCTV systems to include DVRs, NVRs, and Hybrids
4. Knowledge of access control theory and different types of door hardware including maglocks & strikes.
5. Flexibility to be on-call for urgent requests as required
6. Maintain documentation of overall systems (ie, floor plans, equipment make/model, passwords, networking, etc).
7. Able to interact with customers and represent the company in a professional manner.
8. Install security systems and assist upper level Installers with installations.
9. Establish positive contact with customer.
10. Prepare installation equipment.
11. Assist in the installation of Bay Alarm security, CCTV, access control, and fire systems as required.
12. May install wireless systems independently
13. May be required to work weekends and holidays as needed
14. All other miscellaneous responsibilities and other duties as assigned.
15. Aptitude to become proficient in programming and networking configurations of all our IP based equipment.

Qualifications
1. 1-2 years installing commercial access control and CCTV systems.
2. Understanding of electric circuits and wiring in low voltage applications.
3. Knowledge of cabling including: Cat5e, Cat6 and Coaxial.
4. Intermediate PC skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office.
5. Effective communication & Customer service skills required
6. Detail oriented and able to work independently or in a team.
7. Ability to lift and move at least 50lbs in order to move/install equipment as needed.
8. Availability to travel to multiple customer sites.(Valid driving license & bike & smart phone required)
9. Familiarity with installation and maintenance tools and equipment
10. Competency in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving cabling and network related issues.
