# The “Take A New Turn In Arunachal” Campaign Was Launched By The Arunachal Government:

The Tourism Department of the Government of Arunachal Pradesh has launched a new tourism brand campaign, “Take a New Turn in Arunachal,” to position the state as a leading destination for experiential, cultural, and adventure tourism in India.

Building around the state's new tourism identity, “Beyond Myths and Mountains,” the initiative encourages travellers to look beyond landscapes and monasteries and experience authentic cultural interactions, local traditions, and immersive storytelling.

The campaign showcases several iconic destinations, each offering a unique travel experience.

Such as 1 Tawang – famous for its spiritual heritage and Himalayan views, 2 Ziro – famous for its indigenous culture and beautiful valleys, 3 Anini – famous for its lakes, waterfalls and untouched nature, 4 Namsai – famous for its spiritual tourism and river culture, 5 D**g – known for India's first sunrise, 6 Mechukha – famous for adventure and peace in the Himalayas.

According to the state government, Arunachal Pradesh received over 1 million tourists in 2025.

Under its new tourism policy, the state is focusing on: 1. Better road and air connectivity, 2. Improved tourism infrastructure, 3. Increasing accommodation capacity by about 50%, 4. Promoting farm, eco, tribal, spiritual, adventure and border tourism, 5. Providing global attention to adventure tourism.
