Farmyard Fun: Learning Takes Root

Preschool 1 and 2 students celebrated “A Day at the School Farm” with joy and curiosity. They explored farm animals — learning their sounds, homes, and importance — amid vibrant displays that made learning interactive. Creative crafts and farm-themed worksheets let the little learners connect play with knowledge in a fun, hands-on way.

A proud moment for Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, as the Junior Wing Annual Award Ceremony has been featured in Hindustan Times on 13 May 2026.

The ceremony celebrated the hard work, dedication, and academic excellence of our young achievers from Classes IV and V.

This special recognition reflects the school’s continued commitment to nurturing confident, focused, and future-ready learners.

Interhouse Newspaper Reading Competition – Class V

Delhi Public School, Mathura Road, hosted an Interhouse Newspaper Reading Competition for Class V on April 12, 2026. The event was organized to enhance students’ reading skills and nurture a lifelong love for literature.

Participants from all six houses — Ravi, Chenab, Ganga, Jhelum, Yamuna, and Sutlej — displayed remarkable enthusiasm and confidence. Each student captivated the audience with articulate delivery and well-chosen news pieces that sparked lively engagement among peers.

Results:
- First Position: Yamuna House
- Second Position: Jhelum House
- Third Position: Ravi House

Vice Principal Ms. Soni Saxena commended all participants for their effort and eloquence. She emphasized the vital role of reading in building knowledge, sharpening communication skills, and broadening young minds.

Timeless Tales, Ageless Bonds

‘Timeless Tales with Grandparents’ was celebrated by the Pre-Primary Wing and Cambridge classes on 8th May 2026. दादा-दादी and नाना-नानी filled classrooms with love as they narrated stories using colourful props and expressions. Children listened with wonder, learning values of kindness, sharing, and respect. The event became a joyful celebration of bonding between generations, beautifully bridging home and school. For our Foundational Stage learners, it was a magical experience where storytelling nurtured emotional connect and created timeless memories.

Morning Assembly | My School, My Pride

The Primary Wing of Delhi Public School Mathura Road hosted a vibrant special assembly on 7 May 2026, presented by Classes 2C and 2G on the theme “My School, My Pride.”

Through prayer, choir, news updates, anchoring, and thoughtful presentations, the young learners expressed their love for school and highlighted the many opportunities offered at DPS Mathura Road, from sports, horse riding, skating, swimming, shooting, AI learning, healthcare, safety drills, library resources, and nurturing teachers.

Vice Principal Ms. Soni Saxena appreciated the students’ confidence and guided them on discipline, neat turnout, and confident spoken English.

The assembly beautifully reflected the pride, values, and holistic learning environment of DPS Mathura Road.

DPS Mathura Road Students Shine at Delhi State Karate Championship 2026

We are proud to share the wonderful achievement of our students at the Delhi State Karate Championship 2026 held on 17 April 2026 at Talkatora Indoor Stadium.

🥇 Samaira Phogatte (Class 3D) won a Gold Medal with an outstanding performance.

🥈 Yuvaan Shivam Gupta (Class 4H) won a Silver Medal and made us proud with his dedication and hard work.

We are also delighted to announce that Samaira Phogatte has been selected for the National Karate Tournament to be held in Dehradun, Uttarakhand.
