Reminder - Session 2016-17 initiates tomorrow. All members be present from 2.45-3.45pm for orientation ✅ Lets open another year full of contributions to our community.

So today being 30th of June was the last day of this month and so for our internship too. It has been a great success and what we did made us really happy. We learnt a lot and even changed the mindset of many people regarding the education system via spreading awareness about sdmc school through our entire project. Last day was marked by paying last visit to shahpur jatt and finding more people who are willing to enrol for admissions. We came back from the community and displayed all our artwork which was the compilation of all our hardwork done in these 10 days of the internship. We were filled with immense happiness and satisfaction because we had made steps to bring a change in these children's life

And the end of the day was marked by appreciations and gratitude from and to the teachers. Our heartfelt thanks to Ruchika ma'am, Rishi sir and Manisha Ma'am. Also to the teachers of I am a teacher- Amita ma'am, Bhawna ma'am and Smriti ma'am. Lastly, we would like to thank Marya and Anjali Ma'am and all parents and others who have helped and supported us.

Second last day of the internship. Days passed so easily. We went from school to sdmc school and there as directed by the other teachers, we went to the communities. Today we went to shahpur jatt. A person had assured us of helping us put our canopy at a place where no one has any issues. We went to that place. From there we went in different groups to be able to go through the entire community and talk to as many people as possible. We got a nice response from parents. We also informed the parents about an orientation which is to happen tomorrow in school and which will be discussing and clearing the parents doubts about the education in sdmc school.

Monsoon has arrived and so it was rainy on our 7th day of the internship. We began from school in rain, the weather was loving ans reached sdmc school. There we all completed our art work. Then we departed for the community. We all went to begampur village. The place was full of water. We went to differ houses and people to talk to them about the sdmc school and the work that we were doing in order for better education opportunities for their children.

New week and new targets. We departed from school for the sdmc school. There work began with celebrations as we celebrated a friend's birthday which brought life to the sdmc school. Then we separated in our groups and completed the artwork. From there we went for the communities. We all went to Shahpur Jatt wherein we were divided into 3 groups and then went in different directions to spread awareness and get more kids for admissions.

Friday was the 5th day of our internship. We went from our school to the sdmc school and started off with the artwork in our different groups. There were many kids of the nearby areas who had come their as they had already enrolled themselves. So we played badminton, footbal and running games with them for sometime. It was a really wonderful moment seeing them smile and enjoy times. Then it was time for us to leave for the communities. We went there and formed different groups. We even put our posters and distributed the pamphlets to spread more awareness and bring our point of doing all this to the notice of people.

23rd june was our third day. From school we depared for the SDMC school wherein we began our work of making classes more appealing to kids in creative ways. It was also the time when real hurdles came our way- certain people having issues by us putting our canopy and therefore getting it removed. But this didn't stop us from doing what we wanted to. So went ahead in groups into the locality anr talked to as many people as possible. And as said before, now thar admissions had began we were more enthusiastic to apprpach more and more people and talk to them.

To begin with the second day, we went to the SDMC school and there we were oriented about making classes more attractive and learning in creative ways. We also took an entire view of the school. From there we departed for the communities in different groups to spread the awareness of the entire concept of the SDMC school.This day also marked the beginning of the admissions in school. First day was successful because people approached school for their children's admission✨👌🏻

Summer are time to enjoy the weather🌤 and take some responsibilities. So the students of The Heritage School opted to intern for this noble cause.
20 June 2016 was our first day of internship. We were oriented about the aim and process and we started our day with a small picnic.
Later we were divided in groups to spread out and reach parents and children.
We went through narrow dark streets and found people. We made them understand the concept of 'our adopted ' school - SDMC , police colony , Haus khaz. 🏫We told them that the school is same as the government school but has been recently adopted by the heritage school. The educational facilities are adept as well as the sanitation is up to the mark.
The process was tiring yet it gave immense pleasure
to see the eagerness of these children to learn new things(other word). 📚
We were relieved by by hot tiring day by heavy rainfall. 💦
It was a beautiful and eye opening experience for us and we were all looking forward to work for the next following days.💫

To promote equality of resources the students aimed at gathering grains, toys, and clothes from the privileged and distribute it to the underprivileged.Collections were made at Ambiance Mall, Vasant Kunj, at school and Select City Walk Mall. Many people have made contributions and the journey has been enriching and exciting. Here's a sneak peak of our stars at work :)
