🌟 Small Hands, Big Determination 🌟

At our Trichy Clubfoot Clinic, a heartwarming moment captured by our counsellor reminded us why early treatment matters. A young child with clubfoot was carefully trying to put the lace into his blue clubfoot brace all by himself.

What may seem like a simple act is actually a powerful sign of progress, confidence, and independence. Every cast, every brace, and every follow-up visit helps children take steps toward a future where they can walk, run, play, and dream without limitations.

Reflecting on this moment, CURE India Director Dr Santosh George shared:

"When a child confidently wears their brace, it is more than a treatment milestone; it is a sign that they are embracing a future filled with possibilities. These small moments inspire us to continue our mission of ensuring every child with clubfoot can ."

At CURE India, we remain committed to transforming lives through free clubfoot treatment and supporting families throughout their journey.

Every lace tied today is a step towards a brighter tomorrow.

🌟 A Story of Courage, Hope, and Possibility 🌟

Today at the CURE International India office, our Director, Dr Santosh George, interacted with Mr Shouvik Roy, who successfully completed his internship with CURE India during April and received his internship certificate.

A management student from Mumbai, Shouvik, spent a month learning about CURE India’s work, visiting clubfoot clinics, interacting with families, and gaining firsthand experience of our mission to ensure that every child can .

What made this interaction truly special was Shouvik’s personal journey. Born with clubfoot himself, he shared how treatment options during his childhood were still largely experimental compared to the proven and effective care available today. Reflecting on his experiences, he delivered a powerful message to children and families affected by clubfoot: there is nothing to be ashamed of. With timely treatment, children with clubfoot can grow, learn, dream, and achieve anything they set their minds to.

His story is a reminder that clubfoot does not define a child’s future. It inspires us to continue working towards a world where every child receives timely treatment and the opportunity to reach their full potential.

We thank Shouvik for his valuable contribution, inspiring words, and commitment to supporting children born with clubfoot.

🌟 One Little Step Can Change an Entire Future 🌟

While reviewing photographs of children receiving clubfoot casting treatment at CURE International India, our Founder & Director, Dr Santosh George, was deeply moved by a simple video shared by one of our counsellors.

In the video, a little girl who once struggled with clubfoot was happily running around the clinic. As the counsellor lovingly called out, β€œCome again for the second round,” the child kept running with joy, confidence, and freedom.
That moment says everything.

If this little girl had not received timely treatment, she may never have been able to stand properly. And when a child cannot stand confidently, going to school becomes difficult. Without education, opportunities fade, and futures become limited.

But because of early treatment and care, her future is now completely different.

At CURE International India, we are not just correcting feet; we are restoring childhoods, education, dignity, and hope for a brighter tomorrow.
