On 12th April 2026, the Valedictory Session of the 2nd National Veterinary, Dairy & Fisheries Symposium – 2026 was successfully conducted, marking the conclusion of this enriching two-day event.

The session began with a welcome address and introduction of dignitaries by Dr. Shirish Upadhyay (Organizing Secretary) and Tanvi Chaoudhary (National Co-Convenor). This was followed by a comprehensive summary of the symposium presented by Dr. Mukund Kadam (Joint Organizing Secretary).

Insightful addresses were delivered by Shri Vikram Farswan (National In-Charge, Agrivision) and Dr. Niteen Patil (Vice Chancellor, MAFSU, Nagpur). The Best Poster Presentation Awards were also presented, recognizing outstanding contributions by participants.

The session was further enriched by the inspiring address of Chief Guest Shri Punyamurti Ji (Padmashree Awardee). The program concluded with a vote of thanks by Shri Amit Sharma (Joint Organizing Convener), followed by the National Song, Vande Mataram, bringing the symposium to a proud and patriotic close.

On 12th April 2026, Technical Session – II of the 2nd National Veterinary, Dairy & Fisheries Symposium – 2026 was successfully conducted.

The session began with a welcome address, followed by the introduction of dignitaries by Dr. Vikas Phulia (Joint Organizing Secretary, GADVASU, Punjab). The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. S. V. Upadhaye (Dean & Organizing Secretary).

The session featured insightful talks by experts including Dr. Sunil Garg on smallholder poultry enterprises and women empowerment, Dr. Manoj Aware on BAIF’s role in sustainable rural development through livestock programmes and opportunities for young veterinarians, and Dr. Jogdand Swati on a One Health, One Community approach focusing on dog welfare and rabies prevention.

An interactive session with students enhanced engagement and knowledge sharing. The session concluded with remarks by Dr. S. V. Upadhaye (Dean & Organizing Secretary), followed by a vote of thanks by Dr. Saicharan Hande (Chairman, Organizing Committee).

On 12th April 2026, the Role Model Session of the 2nd National Veterinary, Dairy & Fisheries Symposium – 2026 was successfully conducted at the Main Auditorium, Nagpur Veterinary College Campus, Nagpur.

The session commenced with a welcome address, followed by the introduction of dignitaries by Dr. Manoranjan Roy (Joint Organizing Secretary, WBUAFS, Kolkata). The opening remarks were delivered by Dr. Niranjan Kalita (Vice Chancellor, AVFU, Guwahati).

The session featured inspiring talks by distinguished speakers including Dr. Dhiraj Mankari on breed improvement programmes, Mr. Abhijeet Naohate on building an aquaculture startup journey from fisheries education to Shark Tank, Mrs. Shraddha Dhawan on achieving self-reliance through dairy entrepreneurship, and Dr. Nina Singh on pearl farming and its role in rural resilience through aquatic biotechnology.

An interactive session with students provided a platform for meaningful engagement and learning. The session also included concluding remarks by Dr. S. V. Upadhye (DI & Dean, Veterinary, MAFSU, Nagpur) and Dr. Niranjan Kalita, followed by a vote of thanks by Dr. Ujjawal Nayak (Joint Organizing Convenor).

On 12th April 2026, the Resolution Session of the 2nd National Veterinary, Dairy & Fisheries Symposium – 2026 was successfully conducted.

The session began with a brief introduction by Shri Manish Fate (National Convenor, Agrivision). It was followed by insightful addresses from Shri Shivam Pandey (National Co-Convenor, Agrivision), Dr. Amit Sharma, Dr. Ujjwal Nayak, and Shri Jitendra Singh Bika (Organizing Co-Convenors), who shared key perspectives and outcomes of the symposium.

The session also included an engaging student interaction, providing a platform for discussion, feedback, and future directions.
