Some questions are uncomfortable - but that doesn’t mean they should be silenced.
Every year, when Eid Milad-un-Nabi comes around, Muslims often find themselves debating whether it is established from the Qur’an and Sunnah or not. And some eventually say, “Just stop questioning it.”
But should we?
There is power in asking questions. Seeking evidence is not disrespect. Asking “Where is this established?” is not hatred. And asking for proof should never be treated as something we need to be ashamed of.
If something is truly established, it should be able to stand upon evidence.
So don’t be afraid to ask.
Don’t stop seeking the truth.
And most importantly, don’t let emotions replace evidence.
Keep the question alive: Where is it established?
