✏ *RBI Monetary Policy*- 6th Apr'17
• Leaves *repo rate & CRR unchanged* Repo @6.25% , CRR 4%
• *Hikes Rev Repo by 25bps*to 6%
• *MSF rate cut by 25bps* to 6.5%
• *Policy to remain consistent with neutral stance*
• Endeavor to drain out liquidity overhang
• *Growth outlook @ 7.4% FY18* from 6.7% in FY17
• Expect Jan-Mar CPI to undershoot 5% trgt.
• Future course of policy stance to be local macro data dependent
• *SDF facility being considered by Gov*
• *Banks can now invest into REIT's*
• Pace of global growth to accelerate slightly in 2017
• Revised corrective action plan for banks by Mid Apr with *resolution of banks NPAs on firm footing*
