NSUTMUN'22 was definitely a sight to see!

From witnessing exhilarating debates on enthralling agendas to off-shore immaculate discussions on political realities, we had it all. Some won awards, while some made lasting connections, but in the end we all went back with a sack of memories of the first offline conference in Post-covid era.

With debates, resolutions and a lot more to deliver, WE ARE BACK for another amazing session. Come, be a part of this spectacle and explore this world through our lenses.

Debate and discussion are the anvils on which the future is beaten to perfection. In an ever-changing world,our opinions and our stands are what define us as a denizen of this world order.

The mind races to win, clever arguments prevail, a place where creativity knows no bounds in a variety of events like case studies, a grand parliamentary debate, NSMPD, and one of most prestigious Model UN conferences in the circuit, NSUT MUN.

This April, The Debating Society of NSUT brings to you Colloquium 2023- The 9th edition of our flagship Debating and Literary festival.

Bhaiya/Didi/Ma’am/Sir, haven’t we had too much of it this past few weeks?

So with our drumrolls ready and our minds on fire, DebSoc, the Debating Society of NSUT, announces its orientation for the batch of 2022.

Why should you attend the orientation, you ask?

Well, DebSoc is the ideal setting for you if you enjoy some heavy discussions, some deep research, quick witted rhetorics or plain public speaking (or just want to get better at it!)
More than that, we build an environment that helps you grow yourself, along with fostering some unbreakable bonds and a whole lot of memories. And ofcourse with Debsoc comes the legacy of 'well placed' seniors.

14 years ago today, our nation was attacked. Our values were assaulted. Our home was invaded.
They wanted us to bend and bow down, they wanted to sow seeds of division, and they wanted to break us apart from within. They failed.

When you say, never forget, make sure you remember the right thing, those who sacrificed to keep us together against the assault on our core value of fraternity. If we keep that fraternity of cultures- that is our nation; alive, we win.

In remembrance of those who suffered through that tragedy and as a reminder of our strength in unity, The Debating Society of NSUT pays tribute to all those who suffered that day and hopes that the victims find peace.

What seem like the last steps of one journey are only the firsts for another one-- and you're gonna enjoy this one a lot. The struggle, constant studies and everyday effort of your entrance journey are over, and what awaits you now is a lot more of exactly that!
