A beautiful human inside out, whose expression never hold aggression yet always win the meet and someone who's always there for people, Anchal Singh signed off with her words :
" MANTRANA, You made me a little more self-aware, a little less wrapped up in my own, gave me some constants, variables and definitely a context to my life. The stories which we created would return to me, once, twice and then again and again.
It seems like it was yesterday only when I was standing nervously on the podium in Sangam Parisar giving my auditions as a fresher to get into the DebSoc, and was a bit sceptical about my chances of selection, then being the General Secretary for two years, and finally today, signing off as president of MANTRANA.
MANTRANA and I, we have grown with each other taking all those baby steps. All of this feels like a whirlwind of emotions passing by me.
Starting off as a novice and participating in YPs/MUNs in the first year to chairing some of them in the third year, I've travelled this far.
And most importantly, MANTRANA gave me an amazing bunch of people who became part of my home team in an unknown city.
This semester has gone by fast due to the pandemic and stuff, but I wish I had more time to interact with my fellow society members, especially juniors, who have been the front-line confreres. Indeed, if I had to rate a three year journey with MANTRANA on a scale from George Washington to Donald Trump, it would definitely get a Woodrow Wilson.
Anticipating for a proper society farewell when all of this ends;) ".

With a dazzling personality, Ish*ta Kochar, is an ardent debater, who'll always be found standing up for what is right. She signed off with her words :
"When I joined Mantrana in the second year of my college as an active member all I learnt from my seniors was to participate as much you can, to go and learn from that. That’s what I did every weekend, going to different competitions. When in third year I got the opportunity to represent as society Vice President I tried to inculcate the same thing to the juniors that go out, participate, fall, fail and sometimes people would make fun of you, but that’s how you would learn. Indeed, my association with Mantrana has been full of love and remembrance as it’s not always about winning or losing."

"My MANTRANA's journey began with me running behind a friend asking her how I can join the club to going and sitting in room no. AB1 where weekly sessions were held.
I still remember impatiently texting *takocharr r before participating in a conventional debate because it had been so long before I had last participated. I was all nervous and didn't know if I could do it. She made me calm and encouraged me to participate. She instilled a belief in me that I can do it. And that's how everyone here in MANTRANA is.
Cut to the auditions day, when I stood up and delivered my speech and got selected for the post of 2nd year Representative. When I got to know this, my joy had no bounds. I was happy for making it to the core team of MANTRANA, and more importantly, among these benevolent and smart ladies.
From then, when I was too nervous to even participate in a CD, I've come down to participating in MUNs, YPs, and even judging one of them. This whole while has been delightful.
I'd be lying if I say I made it till here all alone because I was constantly helped and guided by my fellow team mates with constant support and belief in my. But again, that's literally how everyone here is. So encouraging, smart and kind. I'm glad to have met such beautiful souls and I can't ever stop learning from them. I still remember saying "Haar jeet toh dekhi jaayegi, baat participation ki hai" on the very first day.
MANTRANA taught me that you've got yourself and that's literally enough. It instilled confidence in me when I wasn't confident enough about myself. It taught me that learning never stops, literally. MANTRANA'S motto that "we don't take debaters, we make debaters" stands absolutely right.
To many more memories!"
With these words, Pooja Aggarwal• Second Year Representative-Team Mantrana'19-20 signing off.
