Guru Harkrishan Public School joyfully hosted its Nursery Graduation Ceremony on February 26, 2026, celebrating an important milestone in the early learning journey of its young students. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, pride, and heartfelt emotions as the tiny graduates took their first step towards a new phase of learning.
The programme began on a serene and spiritual note with a soulful Shabad. This was followed by the presentation of the Annual Report by the Principal, the formal welcome of the guests .
The occasion was honoured by the presence of Chairman S. Sarvjit Singh Virk Ji and Vice Chairman S. Manjeet Singh Aulakh Ji, who showered their blessings on the graduates and encouraged them to embrace learning with joy and determination. The event was further graced by Bibi Ranjeet Kaur and other respected members of the Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, whose presence added dignity and warmth to the celebration.
The cultural segment beautifully showcased the confidence and talent of the young graduates. The audience was enthralled by a delightful Western dance, a creative Divinity skit highlighting the importance of the environment, an energetic skating performance on Jai Ho, a cheerful dandiyaan presentation on Chamkeela tara, and a captivating, foot-tapping Ghoomar solo dance. A Hindi skit sensitively portrayed children realising the love and sacrifices made by their parents. The vibrant Bhangra and Giddha performances added traditional charm and festive spirit to the celebration.
A poignant candle ceremony added an emotional touch to the event, symbolising hope and the bright future that awaits the young learners. The programme concluded with an inspiring address by the Chairman and the rendition of the National Anthem, leaving behind beautiful memories for students, parents, and teachers to cherish.

The Best Wishes and Farewell Ceremony for the students of Class XII of GHPS was held on 11/2/26 with great enthusiasm and heartfelt emotions. The day began with the solemn Best Wishes Path for Classes X and XII in the School Gurdwara Sahib, seeking the Almighty’s blessings for success in the forthcoming Board Examinations and a bright future ahead.
The Principal, Mrs. Jasvinder Kaur, blessed the students and wished them outstanding success. The School Manager, S. Manjeet S. Aulakh, Chairman Sardar Sarvjit Singh Virk, and DSGMC Member Bibi Ranjeet Kaur Ji also extended their good wishes and encouraged the students to uphold the values of the institution.
A touching highlight of the ceremony was the formal handing over of the School Flag by Class XII to Class XI, symbolising the passing of responsibility and legacy.
The programme concluded on an emotional yet joyous note with a cake-cutting ceremony, leaving behind cherished memories for all.

The programme featured the Hon’ble Prime Minister, who continued his interaction with students and shared further valuable guidance on managing examination stress, effective time management, and building self-confidence. Students watched the programme with keen interest and gained meaningful insights into exam preparation and positive thinking. The session proved to be informative, motivating and highly beneficial for the students.

Guru Harkrishan Public School, Punjabi Bagh conducted a CPD workshop on “Promoting Mental Health and Well-Being among Students” on February 7, 2026, in alignment with CBSE’s focus on holistic education.
The interactive session, led by Ms. Sumati Anand and Ms. Deepa Arora, CBSE Resource Persons, aimed to sensitize teachers to students’ emotional, psychological and social needs while promoting resilience, empathy and a supportive classroom environment.
The Principal, Ms. Jasvinder Kaur, addressed the teachers, emphasizing empathy and teacher well-being in nurturing emotionally secure learners.
The workshop reaffirmed the school’s commitment to CBSE’s holistic and value-based education.

Guru Harkrishan Public School, Punjabi Bagh celebrated Republic Day on January 23rd with great enthusiasm and patriotic fervour. The event was graced by Chairman S. Sarvjit Singh Virk, Sr. Vice Chairman Manjeet Singh Aulakh, and the Principal. The programme began with a soulful Shabad, followed by a patriotic song and an inspiring student speech highlighting the significance of Republic Day. The celebration fostered a deep sense of pride and patriotism among all present.

The Primary Segment students of GHPS Punjabi Bagh observed Sahibzada Shaheedi Diwas through an online poetry recitation programme to honour the sacrifice of the Chhote Sahibzade. The students recited poems expressing courage, faith, and devotion, making the commemoration meaningful and educational. The activity helped instil moral values and awareness of Sikh history among young learners.

Veer Bal Diwas was celebrated in the school from December 22, 2025 to December 26, 2025 with great reverence and patriotic spirit to honour the exemplary courage, resilience, and supreme sacrifice of the children , who continue to inspire the future of India. The celebration aimed to instil values of bravery, faith, moral strength, and resilience among students.
To deepen understanding and encourage active participation, various activities were organised. Students enthusiastically took part in slogan writing, expressing themes of courage, sacrifice, and patriotism. Through poster making, they creatively portrayed the spirit of Veer Bal Diwas with powerful messages of bravery and devotion. Essay Writing and Interactive discussion session were held which helped them connect historical teachings with real-life challenges.
The programme was a meaningful tribute that strengthened students’ moral values and patriotic spirit, leaving a lasting impact on young minds.
