Bharat National Public School proudly participated in the Delhi State Junior Rugby Championship, organized by the Rugby Association of Delhi at Bharati Mines Ground, New Delhi, on 26 May 2026.

This marked the first-ever rugby tournament participation for our students, making it a truly special and unforgettable experience for both the players and the coach. Our football players stepped onto a completely new sporting platform to understand the bigger aspect of sports in life — learning how to be stronger, tougher, fearless, and more disciplined through the spirit of rugby.

The championship provided incredible exposure, real-time match experience, and an opportunity for students to connect themselves with a new sporting idea and culture. The energy, enthusiasm, and fighting spirit shown by the students were truly commendable. Most importantly, the children enjoyed every moment of this exciting journey and embraced the challenge with confidence.

A special appreciation to Coach Wasim Zaidi for constantly motivating the team and bringing out an energetic and determined performance from the players throughout the tournament.

At BNPS, we believe sports are not only about winning medals but also about building character, courage, teamwork, and resilience. This experience was a major step towards shaping young athletes for the future.
