Vismaad - The Divinity Society of SGGSCC VISMAAD - ਵਿਸਮਾਦ
Sri Guru Granth Sahib, the Holy Book of the Sikhs, embodies divine wisdom ebbing us to lead a life of virtue, piety and goodness.

In keeping with its tradition, the Divinity Society reflecting the unabated enthusiasm and selfless devotion of the college, remains active throughout the year. The Society organizes gurpurab of Sri Guru Nanak Dev ji and Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji every year. The society also organizes inter college and inter school kirtan competition.

The session beautifully connected Gurbani with the everyday struggles and responsibilities of student life, guiding the Sangat towards discipline, humility, seva, simran, and living with spiritual awareness amidst worldly challenges. Through divine vichaar and heartfelt katha, the atmosphere was immersed with Gur vichaar.✨

Guru Pyaare reminded the Sangat that true success is not only achieved through worldly accomplishments, but through staying connected with Nanak Naam, maintaining high morals, and walking on the path shown by Guru Sahib. 💙

With Guru Sahib’s kirpa, the session concluded with gratitude, devotion, and hearts spiritually uplifted, leaving the Sangat inspired to incorporate Gurmat values into their daily lives. ✨💙

With the blessings and apaar kirpa of of Dhan Dhan Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, VISMAAD – The Divinity Society of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi celebrated the FOUNDER’S DAY of the college and Parkash Purab of Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Gobind Singh Ji Maharaj on 23rd and 28th January 2026 in the college premises. 🌼

The first day was conducted with the Bhog of Sri Sahaj Path, followed by a Gurmat Samagam, in which Guru Pyaare blessed the Sangat with Dhur Ki Bani and immersed the Sangat in Nanak Naam through divine Gurbani Kirtan.✨

The second day was concluded with various school and college level Gurmat Competitions, where participants shared their love and understanding of Gurbani and Gurmat values.

With Guru Sahib’s kirpa, the FOUNDER’S DAY 2026 concluded with gratitude and devotion, leaving the Sangat spiritually inspired. 💙✨

With the blessings and apaar kirpa of Dhan Dhan Sahib Sri Guru Granth Sahib Ji Maharaj, VISMAAD — The Divinity Society of Sri Guru Gobind Singh College of Commerce, University of Delhi, has been proudly upholding the tradition of organizing Gurmat Competitions every year.

Continuing its cherished tradition of spreading Gurmat values among the youth, Gurmat Competitions 2026 were held on 28th January 2026 ✨

The competitions were held at both School Level and College Level under the following categories:

Categories:

(i) Kirtan (Team)

(ii) Bani Kanth (Team)

(iii) Declamation (Team)

(iv) Akharkari (Individual)

(v) Quiz (Team - College Level only)

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to all the participants for their enthusiastic participation. Each and every participant performed exceptionally well. We would like to convey that positions are merely numbers - every participant is truly a winner. ✨
