🇮🇳 FLAG HOISTING CEREMONY | INDEPENDENCE DAY 2026 🇮🇳

The spirit of patriotism soared high at Yuvashakti enfants jardin as we proudly commemorated India’s Independence Day with a solemn and inspiring Flag Hoisting Ceremony. 🇮🇳✨

The National Flag was ceremoniously unfurled in the esteemed presence of Managing Director Mr. Mohit Sharma, Member of Management Mr. Anil Sharma, Director Mr. Harinder Kumar, Head of School Ms. Divya Vats, and Pre-Primary Coordinator Ms. Shagun, along with the school fraternity.

The ceremony was a heartfelt tribute to the courage, sacrifices and dreams that shaped our nation—reminding us that freedom is not merely a legacy, but a responsibility we carry forward. 🇮🇳

*🇮🇳 INDIA — A LAND OF DREAMS 🇮🇳*

Our 80th Independence Day celebration at Yuvashakti enfants jardin was a vibrant and heartwarming celebration of India’s dreams, diversity, heritage and bright future.The campus came alive with patriotic spirit, colourful presentations and the cheerful enthusiasm of our little learners.

The programme was graced by our Managing Director, YMS, Mr. Kartik Sharma; Managing Director, enfants jardin, Ms. Priyanka Sharma; Director, YMS, Mr. Harinder Kumar; Head of School ,YMS, Ms. Divya Vats; and Wing Coordinator, Ms. Shagun Kaushik.

The celebration commenced with the ceremonial lamp lighting and welcome, setting a graceful tone for the occasion. This was followed by captivating performances by our little stars from Nursery to Grade 1, who beautifully showcased India’s vibrant festivals, diverse states, rich cultures, unity in diversity and inspiring vision for the future. Their confidence, enthusiasm and innocent expressions made the celebration truly memorable. 🇮🇳✨

It was a celebration of the India we inherit, the India we imagine, and the India our children will build—an India that continues to dream, grow and shine. 🧡🤍💚

🌈 My Body, My Safety! | Little Voices, Big Awareness 🌈

Our Nursery learners took a meaningful step towards personal safety and self-awareness through a fun, age-appropriate Good Touch–Bad Touch / Safe & Unsafe Touch activity. 💛

Through simple actions and confident expressions, our little ones learnt to recognise safe boundaries, say “NO” when something feels uncomfortable, and understand the importance of speaking to a trusted adult. 🫶

An engaging learning experience rooted in NEP 2020’s vision of holistic development, ECCE, child well-being and experiential learning, while fostering awareness of POCSO and child protection from the early years. 🌱✨

Because every child deserves to feel safe, heard and empowered. 💫

🧡 ORANGE COLOUR DAY | A SPLASH OF JOY & LEARNING! 🧡

Our Nursery and KG learners celebrated Orange Colour Day in vibrant hues of orange, turning the day into a joyful experience of colour recognition, creativity and experiential learning. 🍊🌼

Through hands-on activities, observation and playful exploration, our young learners connected the colour orange with elements from their everyday environment—making learning meaningful, joyful and child-centred, in the spirit of NEP 2020 and Foundational Stage pedagogy.

The celebration also encouraged sensory development, language enrichment, fine-motor skills and social interaction, while nurturing appreciation for colours and the natural world. 🌱

Aligned with the focus on holistic development and SDG 4 – Quality Education, the activity beautifully demonstrated that at the foundational stage, every celebration can become an opportunity to learn, explore and grow. ✨

Our little learners explored shapes through a hands-on tracing activity using blocks. By carefully placing each block along the outline of different shapes, they strengthened their fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, and early mathematical thinking. This joyful MLR (Manipulate–Learn–Reinforce) approach encouraged learning through exploration, concentration, and purposeful play.
