Concentrate on your past life.

Visualize three incidents you enjoyed and you like to repeat and remember.

In addition, visualize three incidents you did not enjoy and you do not feel like repeating or remembering.

Write details of these six incidents as much as possible. Take your time and try to remember all the details.

After writing all details, decide, once for all, the following:

1. In your future interactions with others, use only those situations which you like to repeat and remember.

2. In your future interactions with others, do not use those situations which you avoid repeating and remembering yourself.

ADVICE TO PARENTS -IV

(BIOLOGICAL AS WELL AS SOCIAL)

• Involve Your Child in Family's Decision-Making Process as far as Possible. Brainstorm Various Ideas, Proclivities, Difficulties, And Problems Relating to Health, Relationships, Resources, Expenditure with Your Children.
• As far as Possible Children Should Accompany Parents to Market, Bank, Relative’s Place, Morning Walk, Evening Walk, Doctor, Post Office, Etc.
• Maintain Assertive Relationships in All Your Dealings with Others at Home, in the Neighborhood, and with Your Colleagues to Teach Assertiveness to Your Child.
• Never Impose Your Own Unfulfilled Desires or Expectations on Children, While Deciding about their Studies, School, Subjects, Friends, Life-Style, etc.
• Make Some Time for Your Own Child to Listen, Talk, Interact, Appreciate and Support. Plan Dining Together, the Whole Family, without Television or Fast Music on. Discuss Daily Experiences During Such Meetings.
• Do Not Ask Routine Questions from Children, Be Different and Creative in Involving Your Child in Discussions/interactions.
• Concentrate More on the Positive Aspects of Your Child and Encourage the Child to Develop the Same.
• Plan Discussing Important Matters while Having Joint Sitting Sessions or Meals, or any other Opportunity at Getting Together.
• Defend Your Children in Front of others. Become Aware of the Circumstances and Act Accordingly. Never Terrorize a Child, Be Vigilant to Support Your Child Wherever Necessary.
• Allow, encourage and Help the Child Polish own Shoes, Take Care of their Books and Clothes Besides Managing His / Her Surroundings.
• Children Should be Consulted, and Their Views Given Due Respect in Choosing Courses of Study, Belongings, and Friends.
• Every Smallest Amount of Improvement in the Child Needs to be Reinforced With At least Some Positive Verbal Remark. Support Each Effort of the Child Towards Improvement.
• Stick to the Life Style You Want Your Child to Follow. Appreciate all Kinds of Work in Our Society. Do Not Ever Condemn any Job or Profession in Front of Children.
