Accolades for Peterians at Zonal Judo Championship 2026

With great pleasure, we announce the tremendous results of our Peterians at the Zonal Judo Championship 2026. Akshaj Kumar (Grade 9) and David (Grade 9) achieved the Silver Medals in their respective categories, whereas Karan (Grade 8), Bhavya (Grade 9) and Samuel (Grade 10) achieved the Bronze Medals in their respective categories.

Accolades for Peterians at Zonal Sports Championship 2026

We are thrilled to share that our tremendous sportstars have earned accolades at the Zonal Sports Championships 2026. Niang (Grade 7) won an amazing Silver Medal, whereas Mohit (Grade 7) won an appreciable Bronze Medal at the Zonal Taekwondo Championship. Samuel (Grade 10) also depicted his athleticism, and won the Bronze Medal at the Zonal Athletic Championship 2026.

Teacher well-being refers to the calm and supportive environment provided to teachers for the betterment of their physical, mental and emotional health. Highlighting its significance in contemporary times, an informative Faculty Development programme was organised for all the staff members, by our esteemed Principal Ma'am, Ms. Andrea Maria Ghagre, along with Ms. Kiran Malhotra and Ms. Vanshika Kapoor. The session incorporated interesting activities and games to release the stress of our educators, while motivating them to maintain a work-life balance, communicating and sharing their concerns, and performing short breathing exercises to reset their emotional situation. Such measures are integral for reducing burnout and increasing resilience among teachers.

Capacity Building Programme on Use of Artificial Intelligence in the Classroom

St. Peter's Convent got the opportunity to host the CBSE Centre of Excellence coordinated Capacity Building Programme on Use of Artificial Intelligence in Classrooms. Led by eminent educationists, Ms. Upasana Malhotra and Ms. Indu Sharma the session encompassed the introduction of the attending educators to AI platforms and tools that would make teaching-learning experience an eased experience. Tracing the journey of Artificial Intelligence from automation to generative AI, the resource persons enlightened the attending taechers about the pros and cons of this essential technological invention. The steps to create appropriate prompts for AI platforms was also shared to create subject oriented lesson plans, worksheets, assessment sheets, quizzes, games and take help in planning the schedules for the academic year. Overall it was an informative and transformative session which encouraged the facilitators to integrate Artificial Intelligence into their classrooms and academic routine to not only make the concepts long lasting, but also add an interesting dimension to the process.

Grandparents' Day Celebration@SPC

The atmosphere of St. Peter's Convent was filled with laughter, cheer, emotions and nostalgia as the Grandparents of our little toddlers of Grades Bal Vatika 1 and Pre-primary graced the occasion of the Grandparents' Day celebration. Commencing with the auspicious lamp lighting ceremony by our esteemed dignitaries and the traditional Ganesh Vandana by our Peterians of Grade Bal Vatika 1, the event was an amazing amalgamation of melody and rhythm. Captivating dance performances and heartfelt words of adoration by the little ones brought tears of joy as well as nostalgia in the eyes of the grandmas and grandpas. Fun games added to the amusements of the day, with the grandparents recalling retro musical numbers and sharing some moments of joy and excitement. The performance of the day was an outstanding display of love, affection and reverence as grandmas of our toddlers came on stage to showcase their fiery dance skills as well as their unconditional love for their grandchildren. A tremendous Grand Finale performance brought the audience to the dance floor, creating invaluable moments of cheer, rejoice and merriment.
