Today, while stuck in a traffic jam, I got a new idea -I plan to start a series of Facebook posts with new and helpful words and phrases that can help all my students to enhance their everyday conversation skills.
Even though I am not travelling in the rush hour, today the roads are more busy than they are even at peak of everyday office hours (5pm) because of increased number of cars on the road. I haven't moved in the last 20 minutes as the Ring Road is clogged, with cars standing bumper to bumper. As joyful as the festive season is, it inadvertently burdens the roads with excess of cars that are carrying the people of Delhi on their way to work or social gatherings.
Let's do some common words or phrases related to traffic jam that can help you to talk about your travel experiences in English:

Bumper-to-bumper; adjective-
