From Recitation to Realisation
Gita Jayanti was observed in our school with deep reverence and cultural grace. The objective of the programme was to acquaint students with the timeless wisdom of the Bhagavad Gita and inspire them to internalise its values.The celebration commenced with the synchronised recitation of shlokas by the students. Their articulate chanting created a serene and spiritually uplifting ambience. Each verse was recited with clarity and devotion, reflecting their earnest preparation.Following the recitation, teachers provided a comprehensive explanation of the shlokas, elucidating their philosophical essence.In conclusion, the Gita Jayanti celebration was an enriching and enlightening experience.

Awareness Saves Lives – NDRF Shows the Way.
A Familiarisation Exercise was conducted at our school by the National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) under the guidance of the Office of the District Magistrate (East). The programme aimed to create awareness among students, teachers, and staff about disaster preparedness, relief, and rescue operations.
During the session, the NDRF team explained various types of disasters, including natural, chemical, biological, nuclear, and man-made, and demonstrated safety measures, emergency response techniques, evacuation procedures, and basic first-aid practices. Practical demonstrations highlighted the importance of prompt action in minimizing damage and saving lives.
The entire school community participated actively. The exercise enhanced awareness, confidence, and preparedness for potential emergencies, promoting a culture of safety within the school.

In the Under-14 category, Yatharth, Yash, Hasnain, and Aarav displayed outstanding teamwork, determination, and skill—each securing a remarkable 1st Place finish.

From Trash to Treasure — The Heritan Way.
The students of LHS proudly participated in the RPM ATL Tinker Fest 2025, an inspiring innovation platform hosted by Lovely Public Sr. Sec. School. The event brought together young thinkers and creators from various schools to showcase their ideas aimed at building a sustainable and progressive future.
Our enthusiastic Heritans showcased outstanding creativity and problem-solving skills. Among the many innovative exhibits presented at the fest, our team secured the Third Position for their remarkable project “Eco Café – A Zero-Waste Sustainable Model.”The project stood out for its originality and its strong message on sustainability. The judges appreciated the students’ innovation and practical approach toward creating an eco-friendly model.
The school congratulates the team for their commendable achievement and for bringing pride to the school at such a prestigious event.

To promote creativity, life skills, and healthy eating habits among students, the school has organized an Inter-House Cooking Show. The event aimed to bring out the inner chef in students by combining learning with a dash of flavour, imagination, and nutrition. The activity encouraged participants to explore cold cooking techniques while understanding the importance of healthy and sustainable food choices. Special emphasis was given to the use of millets, aligning with the school’s initiative to promote nutritious and climate-friendly grains. Each group participated with great enthusiasm, showcasing their creativity, teamwork, and culinary presentation skills.

The Primary wing of the school came alive with spooky excitement as Heritans celebrated Halloween Day with joy and enthusiasm. Dressed in creative costumes of witches, ghosts, pumpkins, and superheroes, they looked absolutely adorable as they paraded around spreading festive cheer.Through these activities, they learnt about the importance of festivals celebrated around the world and the value of creativity, .The day concluded with happy smiles, laughter, and a bag full of sweet memories — a perfect blend of fun and learning.

The festival of lights was celebrated with warmth and joy as Heritans artistically made rangolis, decorated diyas and candles, and shared food with one another, spreading the true spirit of togetherness.

To offer heritans a blend of entertainment and learning, a special movie visit was organized for them to watch Paddington in Peru. The film beautifully captured the essence of adventure, love, and family values through the endearing journey of Paddington Bear. The students were thoroughly engrossed in the delightful storyline, charming visuals, and heartwarming moments. The visit not only provided a refreshing break from routine academics but also conveyed meaningful lessons about kindness, courage, and togetherness.
