गणित में कोई भी संख्या 1 से 10 तक के सभी अंकों से नहीं कट सकती, लेकिन इस विचित्र संख्या को देखिये...! दरअसल, सदियों तक यह माना जाता रहा था कि ऐसी कोई भी संख्या नहीं है जिसे 1 से 10 तक के सभी अंको से विभाजित किया जा सके। लेकिन रामानुजन ने इन अंकों के साथ माथापच्ची करके इस मिथ को भी तोड़ दिया था। उन्होंने एक ऐसी संख्या खोजी थी जिसे 1 से 10 तक के सभी अंकों से विभाजित किया जा सकता है। यानी भाग दिया जा सकता है। यह संख्या है (2520)। संख्या 2520 अन्य संख्याओं की तरह... वास्तव में एक सामान्य संख्या नही है, यह वो संख्या है जिसने विश्व के गणितज्ञों को अभी भी आश्चर्य में किया हुआ है...!!

यह विचित्र संख्या 1 से 10 तक प्रत्येक अंक से भाज्य है। ऐसी संख्या जिसे इकाई तक के किसी भी अंक से भाग देने के उपरांत शेष शून्य रहे, बहुत ही असम्भव/ दुर्लभ है, ऐसा प्रतीत होता है...!!

अब निम्न सत्य को देखें:

2520 ÷ 1 = 2520

2520 ÷ 2 = 1260

2520 ÷ 3 = 840

2520 ÷ 4 = 630

2520 ÷ 5 = 504

2520 ÷ 6 = 420

2520 ÷ 7 = 360

2520 ÷ 8 = 315

2520 ÷ 9 = 280

2520 ÷ 10 = 252

महान गणितज्ञ अभी भी आश्चर्यचकित हैं: 2520 वास्तव में एक गुणनफल है《7 x 30 x 12》का।

उन्हे और भी आश्चर्य हुआ जब प्रमुख गणितज्ञ द्वारा यह संज्ञान में लाया गया कि संख्या 2520 हिन्दू संवत्सर के अनुसार... एकमात्र यही संख्या है, जो वास्तव में उचित बैठ रही है:

जो इस गुणनफल से प्राप्त है ::

सप्ताह के दिन (7) x माह के दिन (30) x वर्ष के माह (12) = 2520

यही है भारतीय गणना की श्रेष्ठता!

Mirza Ghalib Death Anniversery

हुई मुद्दत कि 'ग़ालिब' मर गया पर याद आता है,
वो हर इक बात पर कहना कि यूँ होता तो क्या होता !

Mirza Asadullah Baig Khan famously known by his pen name ‘Ghalib' was born on 27 December 1797 in Kala Mahal area of Agra, Uttar Pradesh.

‘Ghalib’ in Urdu means conqueror, victor, dominant.

Ghalib wrote in both Urdu and Persian languages and while his Persian writing was longer than his Urdu writing, he is remembered for his ‘shayaris’ or couplets that he wrote in Urdu. For lovers of poetry, he is still celebrated and revered poet not just in India but also around the world.

Ghalib is believed to have started writing poetry from the age of 11. While his first language was Urdu, Persian and Turkish was also spoken at home. Interestingly he also received education in Arabic and considered Hindi and Urdu as synonymous.

Points to know -
(a) He married the daughter of Nawab Illahi Bakhsh ,Umrao Begum ,when he was just 13 year old ,following which he settled in Delhi .

(b) In 1850 ,Emperor Bahadur Shah Zafar II bestowed upon Mirza Ghalib the title of Dabir -ul-Mulk as well as the title of Najm -ud-Dauda.

(c) Bahadur Shah Zafar II awarded him the title of Mirza Nosha thus adding the word Mirza to his name .

(d) Bahadur Shah Zafar II had appointed Ghalib as his tutor for his poetry in 1854 and later he appointed him the tutor to his eldest son Prince Fakhr-uddin Mirza .During this time ,Ghalib was also appointed by the emperor as the royal historian of the Mughal court .

(f) The famed figure in Urdu literature Altaf Hussain Hali ,who is also known as Maulana Khawaja Hali was a shagird (student) of Mirza Ghalib .

(g) Altaf Hussain Hali wrote biography on Mirza Ghalib titled’Yaadgaar -e-Ghalib ‘.

(h) Mirza Ghalib wrote history of Mughal period from Taimur to Humayun which is known as Mehr-e-Nimruz .

(i)Mirza Ghalib wrote first ghazal in 1841.

(j)Abdus Samad is considered as guru of Mirza Ghalib.

(k) Before Mirza Ghalib,letter writing in Urdu was extremely ornamental.The poet ,who was also gifted letter writer made the style more conversational.

(l) Mirza Ghalib’s closest rival was the poet Mohammad Ibrahim Zauq .Another contemporary of Mirza Ghalib was Momin ,whose ghazals were known for their lyrical styles.

(m) Mirza chronicled a turbulent period in the Mughal history.He would time again write about the destruction of the famed bazaars of Mughal Delhi as well as havelis and mansions.

(n) Being a member of declining Mughal nobility Mirza Ghalib depended on either royal patronage or the generosity of friends.Following the fall of the Mughal empire,Mirza Ghalib could never get his full pension restored.

(o) Mirza Ghalib’s residence is located in Gali Qasim Jan ,Ballimaran,Old Delhi,which has now been converted into a heritage site.The museum also houses a life size replica of the legendary poet.It is said that his haveli was presented to him by a physician (hakim) who was a big fan of Mirza Ghalib.

(p) Mirza Galib biography in English was written by Ralph Russel while in Hindi it was written by Pawan Kumar.

(q)The legendary poet died in February 15,1869.He was the last poet of the Mughal era and was buried in Hazarat Nizamuddin,near the tomb of Nizamuddin Auliya.

Mirza Ghalib was the great writer of the 18th century who played a significant role in the development of the Urdu language.He made a great contribution in making Urdu as a people’s language.
