Establishment of the 'Global Network for the study of Modern Greece' is a great step forward for the development of new perspectives in Greek Studies. It was a great pleasure to be part of this historic event at South West University, Chongqing, China, organised in association with the Chinese Ministries of Foreign Affairs and Education along with the Hellenic Ministry of Culture.
On the request of the Centre of Ancient Greek and Chinese Civilizations, I presented a paper on "How Modern Greece is studied in India" and enjoyed the discussions with the academic fraternity from across the world.

Courses It is an extensive course in Modern Greek Language, Literature and Culture. It not only introduces course participants to day-to-day language of modern Greece but also to the Literary History and elements of the Greek Culture.
