Are you interested in knowing about how renewable energy has scaled up till now? Want to know the way forward in these areas? Do you have the curiosity to know various career opportunities in renewables?

ChES IITD brings to you the first webinar of this new session, where Dr. Jasvipul Chawla will talk about renewables in India. Dr. Jasvipul currently works as Lead, External Innovation at ReNew Power. He holds a Ph.D. in Wind Energy, Masters in Technology, and Bachelors in Technology, all from IIT Bombay.

Dr. Jasvipul is a part of the technology team at ReNew power. He joined ReNew in 2019 and has a rich experience in applied automatic controls. He has work experience across multiple industries: Automotive, Manufacturing, and Data Analytics. At ReNew he is responsible for identifying new technologies to be introduced, selecting assets and designing experiments for pilot projects to assess these technologies, implementing the pilots, analyzing data to evaluate gains, and finally scaling up the selected technologies.

It’s the time of the year that everyone has their eyes on and aspiring for the Foreign Research Internships. It’s all about the experience that everyone craves—bagging a foreign internship is for sure, considered a tough nut to crack!

No worries!! Chemical Engineering Society to the rescue! ChES presents its version of “Foreign Intern ke Fundae”. It will be an interactive session guided by your seniors who bagged amazing foreign internships, and they will be more than happy to clear all your doubts and confusions that have been bugging you.

General notions of how to build up an attractive CV, where and how to lookup for universities and programs, how to approach the professors i.e., mailing process, etc and an insight on how to crack the code will all be covered up catering to all your needs to boost you with just the headstart to get you going.

ChemE-thon brings you a chance to put your coding skills into some use! There will be a case study about process design, in which the participants will be given a certain design problem. The problem will consist of a small part in which contestants may be required to formulate a numerical problem that will be solved by writing a small program.
