Kashmir to Karnataka Boat travelled to worked with Diverse communities with the performance /visual Arts and evolved their social practices. .March to April 2021

The second contact point of arts based therapy course in kashmir begins with intense points of artistic creation and theatre with thereupatic intent .

Working in azadpur with marginanilised youth on gender , where most young people said they are often stopped from growing , from self expression , from dreaming . In collaboration with phia and C.S.E.I , centre for social equity and inclusion .

Working in ahmedabad , with child and you , working with training arts based therapist , a part of the A.B.T Educators programme .

In collaboration with pragnyadhara , a branch of Snehadhara Foundation, Snehadhara Foundationha Boat launches its first Arts based therapy course , (ABT course ) in Kashmir at the sheikhu Alam centre for peace and spirituality , at chraar e sharif , central Kashmir . Its been an enormous journey for us to be able to launch this beautiful course for those interested in working in conflict areas . Alaya our abt course is the first step in preparing an army of healers who would walk in disturbed areas with love , and with the arts as their weapon for healing .

BOAT , building on art therapy has launched Alaya , the abt course in kashmir , a course with the intent to create an arts and healing community in conflict zones . To facilitate a space for magicians , travellers , and story tellers . We have eight participants from all over .
Four are from kashmir and four from all over the country .

It's very exciting as Boat institute for the healing Arts has launched it's training program designed specially for at risk populations including children with disability in conflict zones .This is done in collaboration with pragnyadhara , an arm of snehadhara foundation , banglore . Boat is launching its own course on Arts Based Therapy in Kashmir for the first time starting Oct 21st 2018. The attempt is to increase the number of practitioners in conflict areas. Shopian one of the worst hit spaces in south Kashmir , building on art therapy has begun it's work with young school going students . A safe space to express for every child is a fundamental right . This the care that is needed , we all need colours in our life .
