This is my one year alcohol free post! 👽🤗
I started binge drinking very young. I've lived on my own since I was 14 so hiding vodka in my closet was easy, seemed pretty normal to me. I drank and partied my way through life making more mistakes than I can count but if there's one thing I can take away from all of it is that change is possible. I didn't plan to quit on July 5 and sometimes it's better that way, to not overthink it to just do it. I took the pictures on the left exactly one year ago and I can say without a doubt as of today I'm a completely different person. I've been in this group since day one and it has really been beneficial towards me remaining sober, it's nice to not feel alone through it all. Thanks everyone ! 🥰 I know I'm a day early but the fourth has always had such negative emotions around it since my brothers passing so I thought celebrating today would be a great change 🌻🌻 I'm going to buy a cake 🎂

Increasing the number of employers offering apprenticeships

We are working with employers and stakeholders to increase the take up of apprenticeships across the sector. In autumn 2010, in response to a request from the National Apprenticeship Service, People 1st produced a paper outlining where bureaucracy could be removed to improve the efficiency of apprenticeships. This paper represented the views of a number of key sector employers, who shared their experience of delivering apprenticeships.

People 1st is continuing discussions with the National Apprenticeship Service to address the issues identified. We are continuing to support larger employers to embed apprenticeships within their in-house training, and we are supporting SMEs with innovative training solutions. We are also working with learning providers and awarding organisations to make the delivery and assessment of apprenticeships more accessible to businesses.
