Glimpses of the Academic Summit titled 'Islamic Studies in India: Revisiting and Reorienting,' organized by the Centre for Critical Studies at the India Islamic Cultural Centre, New Delhi, last week.

Key themes of the summit included 'Islamic Studies as an Academic Discipline', 'Researching Islam in Indian Universities', and 'Interdisciplinary Approaches & Emerging Frameworks'. The summit featured over 15 national and international guest speakers, covering more than 5 thematic sessions.

The Center for Critical Studies, in collaboration with the Department of Islamic Studies at Aligarh Muslim University, organized a Pre-Academic Summit Symposium ahead of its upcoming Academic Summit, themed "Islamic Studies in India: Revisiting and Reorienting," held at Aligarh Muslim University.
