On March 1, 2025, I returned to Shravasti, Uttar Pradesh—an aspirational district that resonates deeply with me—for my second visit in just over a year. Through Vijayash Foundation, I conducted motivational sessions in a government school and visited several others, inspiring less privileged children who hold boundless potential. I’m excited to share images and news reports from this journey on social media, reflecting our mission to uplift and empower. Shravasti, known as Jetvan, is where Gautam Buddha spent 25 years, particularly during the rainy seasons. Walking here, you feel the serenity, the spirituality, and the presence of Buddha and his monks. This isn’t about Buddhism—it’s about the timeless teachings of compassion and wisdom that still echo in this sacred land, once a hub where people from across India sought guidance.
I’m thrilled to see the Union Budget 2025-2026, presented on February 1, 2025, align with this vision. With ₹2,541.06 crore allocated to the Ministry of Tourism, the government is prioritizing spiritual tourism by developing 50 key destinations, including Buddhist circuits. Shravasti, a vital part of this circuit, is set to shine as a global spiritual hub, with initiatives like the ₹80.24 crore sanctioned for its development. This move not only honors its past—where Buddha’s legacy thrived—but also aims to boost tourism and employment, connecting India with the world.
Yet, for Shravasti to truly flourish, education must be at its heart. A place where Buddha lived deserves schools that nurture bright minds, just as it once nurtured enlightenment. Vijayash Foundation is eager to collaborate with these efforts, focusing on the education of Shravasti’s children while the government transforms it into a thriving Buddhist circuit. Together, we can honor Jetvan’s beauty and spirit—not just as a memory, but as a living promise to its people. Let’s build a future where spirituality and opportunity walk hand in hand.

Pre-wedding ceremony, Private Jets, Climate Concerns
Vijayash Foundation would like to send its good wishes to the Pre-wedding ceremony of Radhika & Anant Ambani.
It is well accepted that the corporate Group has contributed a lot to the growth of India. It has given employment to lakhs of People and return to investors and also best services and products to the public.
While we, give good wishes to the family, we also wish to highlight one issue in public interest that while organizing any such big event the leaders in India, & the world should take care of the carbon footprints of any such big event.
Many Indian and international guests flew down in the private Jets and they all are occupying leadership position in the country and outside India. They do understand the significance of Climate Change crisis due to increase carbon footprints.
We do have huge resources to celebrate an event and it is also desirable to enjoy good occasions in our life, simultaneously, as conscious leaders we should watch out the carbon footprints of such big events. Even environment ministry could have issued some advisory on above. It is understood & we appreciate that we have a shelter for animals (elephants) welfare, similarly we should know how the carbon footprints are creating havoc on environment and disturbing the wildlife and marine life apart from poor people living in various vulnerable parts of the world.
We hope in future we shall take care of above; we have good conscious expectations from the leaders of India and the world. Since Homo-sapiens got cognitive ability some 60,000 years ago, the voice less animals, who were our cohabitants, are serving us patiently since then. Let us care for them as we know how they are suffering because of our excessive carbon footprints.
Thanks for Reading !
