It is this individual quality that we intend to foster- not only by encouraging spontaneous expression, but also by providing a wide range of materials, mediums, ideas, themes, visual inputs and a sustained exposure to contemporary and traditional art forms. Some of the activities the centre offers are:
Drawing and Painting, Many varied craft activities, puppet making, clay modeling, pottery, sculpture, stained glass painting, printing, jewelry making, story telling, handwriting development,creative writing and illustration.......and much more! The classes are organized, planned and conducted by Deepika Kapur who has been working with children for the past 28 years. She has taught in prestigious schools like The Shri Ram School, Mirambika, The French School and educare, (aschool for children with special needs), after which she set up Prath, An Art Centre for Children, in 1994. The centre has worked with children from different segments of society and has been actively involved with developing and promoting art for children, and is also involved with writing and illustrating books for children.
