Looks like a wonderful beautiful book, if it’s grabbing my eyeballs, imagine what it’d do for the kids!!

On Teachers Day today, we get a lot of messages and wishes from parents. I am sharing a message,here, for my colleagues in this profession and for parents, who are a child’s first teacher. In this world where we are going mad in ensuring that our children excel only in academics, I hope this message serves as a reminder...being human first!!

So easy to do something contradictory to what we wish our children to gain and do through reading.

What a beautiful read at Book Bug today!! The Obvious Elephant is pure encouragement for developing lateral thinking in children. The story had the kids in splits. Post the book reading session, we did our very own lateral thinking trying to use a pencil and a watch differently from what they are meant to be used for.
