Hi we at Kaarigari Foundation are looking for an Art Curator.
Job Description for Art Curator.
Position: Art Curator Delhi and Bangalore.
Role: Art curators acquire art and art collections for organizations like museums and history centers in addition they also organize and maintain them.
Knowledge of the artwork is also a key role. The curator also
serves as a link between multiple departments and is a key component to link the artist and their collections to organizations.
Job Duties:
1. Art curators sometimes travel to various parts of the country or world
in search of new art.
2. Art curators write and review grant proposals and publicity materials
that bring in funding for the art establishment.
3. They also attend events and meetings to bring awareness to the public
about the establishment and its current exhibitions.
4. Good communication skills, able to communicate with artists and
maintain communication.
Education Requirements
1. Masters or Graduate degree in Art history or related field
