1) Load your fav. song in ableton
2) Find the part of the track where the kick is most audible/clean
3) Chop off the kick & delete the rest of the song
4) Insert 3 audio tracks ,name them low/mid/high respectively
5) Duplicate the isolated kick onto the audio tracks which you just created
6) Insert multiband dynamics/ OTT on the three audio tracks
7) Solo each band (low/mid/high) on the respective audio tracks
8) Solo the audio track (low) and adjust the length of the kick (this gives the kick the required low end)
9) Solo the audio track (mid) and adjust the length of the kick. This adds up as the mid part of the kick or the body
10) Solo the audio track (high) and adjust the length. This will be the shortest of the clips to ensure the attack/click off the kick
11) Create another audio track in resampling mode
12) Record all three audio tracks (low/mid/high) onto this track
13) Adjust the volume as you deem fit
14) Line up with the original song to compare
15) Drag the sample to your sample library for later
