🇳🇿 New Zealand Post-Study Work Options | 2026 Update 🎓

Planning to study in New Zealand and build your career there? Here’s an important update you need to know! 🇳🇿

From 16 November 2026, new post-study work options will expand opportunities for eligible international graduates:

✅ Post Study Work Visa — Work for up to 3 years, depending on your qualification
✅ New Graduate Diploma pathway — Eligible Level 7 Graduate Diploma + Bachelor’s graduates may qualify for up to 1 year
✅ New Short-term Graduate Work Visa — 6 months of open work rights for eligible Level 5–7 graduates who don’t qualify for a PSWV
✅ Potential pathway to an Accredited Employer Work Visa (AEWV)

📌 Important: You can only be granted a Post Study Work Visa once. Previous PSWV holders cannot apply for another PSWV or the new Short-term Graduate Work Visa.
