The 9th Special Course on Cybersecurity and Cybercrime from May 18-22, 2026 was inaugurated at our Campus. The course is aimed at strengthening techno-legal capabilities of prosecutors and judicial officers in tackling modern cybercrimes and digital evidence.
Guided by Prof. (Dr.) Purvi Pokhariyal, the inaugural was addressed by Prof. (Dr.) Minakshi Sinha, Deputy Director (Training). Coordinated by Dr. Pankaj Sharma and Mr. Aditya Partap Singh, the five-day course covers mobile, IoT, crypto, drone, and cloud forensics, deepfake investigations, OSINT, social media analytics, and legal admissibility of digital evidence. Participants gain hands-on exposure to advanced tools like Chainalysis, CipherTrace, UFED, and FTK, with expert-led sessions from LEAs, BSF, I4C, and industry, plus a technical visit to the IFSO Lab.

We are delighted to welcome participants to the 8th Course on Emerging Trends in Banking & Corporate Frauds and their Detection, including Online Frauds, from April 27–29, 2026 at our Campus. This three-day programme brings together judges, law enforcement officers, banking professionals, forensic experts, and regulators to strengthen frontline capabilities against evolving financial crimes.
The highlights of the event include detection frameworks for banking & corporate frauds, examination of banknotes, cheques & travel documents, digital forensics & cryptocurrency fraud detection, investigation of cybercrimes under the IT Act coupled with the hands-on lab demonstrations of forensic tools.
With expert-led sessions and case-based insights, the course equips participants with practical tools and multidisciplinary perspectives to tackle complex white-collar and cyber-enabled frauds.

An insightful session was delivered by Dr. Jaspal Singh, IPS (Retd.), Chair Professor, NFSU, Delhi Campus on the role of police and its interplay with law and society.
The talk covered various aspects of criminal law and criminal justice system in India and how the practical realities of society and law are governed and enforced by the police force in India.
Taking ample examples from his field experiences, substantive, procedural and case laws, Dr. Jaspal deliberated on how the students of law should prepare themselves to help the judiciary to render justice.
