Madhursmriti, The Alumnae Association, is holding Elections for the post of Office Bearers on May 1, 2021 and hence, we invite nominations for the same. Any person who wishes to contest, is required to fill the form, the link for which is given below.

The fourth session of the online series Moments, Memories & Momentum was held successfully on 31st October, 2020. The event began with an introductory session by Mrs. Bipasa Das where she introduced the Association to the participants and appealed to step forward enthusiastically for the development and enhancement of the students, college and the association. This was followed by Mrs. Rakhi Khundari's brief introduction of Dr. Rakesh Acharya. Dr. Acharya addressed the event by chanting the gayatri mantra. He conducted an active and participative session in which he asked all the participants to share what they desire the most in their lives. After which he told them that to achieve and fulfill their aspirations they need to move out of their comfort zones and change their approach towards life rather than blaming the situation they should realise its them not putting in an effort if they are unable to achieve what they desire. He conveyed the importance of scheduling and how it change ones life. His session was followed by Dr. Archana Ojha, KNC alumna sharing her life's journey from being a student to becoming a faculty member at KNC and reminiscing her beautiful old college days while expressing her gratefulness to the platform provided by KNC in her life. Futher on, the session continued with Mrs. Rakhi Khundari conducting a quiz session on Sholay and then organizing a fun antakhshari and dialogue mimickery session.
The session concluded with a vote of thanks by Mr. Sahil Ramchandani. It was amazing to have such extraordinary participants and zealous audience for the session. Looking forward to an even higher turnout and active participation for our future events as well. Next event announced for 29th November, 2020.

The second session of the online series was held successfully on 9th August 2020. The event behun with an introductory session by Dr. Amrita (President, Madhursmriti) where she introduced the Association to the participants and appealed them to step forward enthusiastically for the development and enhancement of the students, college and the association. This was followed up by a brief address by Dr. Bharati Dave (Staff Advisor).
The performances commenced with an amazing guitar and singing performance by Roshni Mathur (Alumnae from Batch of 2017), which was highly appreciated. It was then followed up by a session on practices of health by Ms. Preeti Arora and a session on Brain Gym by Mr. Debiprasad Pramanik. Both these sessions enabled everyone to learn easy to do exercises at home. The attendees actively participated in the sessions by performing the exercises with enthusiasm and learnt the intricacies of improving physical as well as mental health. Then we had an amazing Kathak dance performance by Ms. Kritika Goyal, who was extremely graceful and performed exceptionally well.
The event celebrated the success story of Dr. Ruchira Dhingra (Batch of 1988). She shared her experience at KNC and her professional growth since. It indeed filled the virtual room with nostalgia. Various suggestions to contribute to the welfare of KNCites, especially during tough times like these, were discussed towards the end.
The session ended with a vote of thanks by Shabana Khan (Vice-president, Madhursmriti).

It was amazing to have such extraordinary participants and zealous audience for the session. Looking forward to an even higher turnout and active participation for our future events as well.

Madhursmriti - The Alumnae Association of Kamala Nehru College organised its first LIVE session of the Online Series to Connect, Celebrate and Contribute to KNC Women.
The session was joined by 70+ alumnae and it was indeed an interactive session. It began with an enlightening session on mindfulness by Shatarupa Chakraborty followed by a motivating success speech by Juhi Garg. A session by Hiba Siddiqui on 'Know Psychology of Life' was highly admired and the session ended by a mesmerising dance performance by Anukriti Khare.
All the Alumnae enjoyed the session and were glad to reconnect with their old college buddies and beloved teachers.
We will continue to have such sessions every month and hope for greater participation as we move along. The next session is scheduled for 9th August, 2020.
