On the occasion of World Book and Copyright Day, the students of Classes III to V indulged in various activities to exhibit their love for reading books. The grade III students acted as their favourite story character, the students of Class IV presented a summary their favourite story and the students of Class V designed a book cover for their favourite story book. Their love for books and stories was well expressed in a creative and enthusiastic manner.

Students of class II celebrated Earth Day with a vibrant “Footprint Parade,” spreading a powerful message of environmental awareness. The students came dressed as elements of nature such as trees, water, animals, and also represented the concept of the Three R’s—Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. Their creative costumes and confident participation beautifully highlighted the importance of protecting and preserving our planet. The activity not only encouraged self-expression but also helped students understand their role in building a greener and cleaner environment.

Balvatika 1 and KG students joyfully celebrated Earth Day with great enthusiasm and creativity. The young learners presented a delightful skit, spreading awareness about the importance of saving our planet and caring for nature. Their confident performances beautifully conveyed meaningful messages in a simple yet impactful way. Adding to the celebration, Balvatika students engaged in a fun tearing and pasting activity, creating colourful models of the Earth. Through these hands-on activities, children learned the value of protecting our environment while expressing their creativity.

Our students are exploring the joy of hands-on learning through Kaushal Bodh, being implemented under the guidelines of National Education Policy 2020, where knowledge meets real-life skills!
Class 6 – Kitchen Garden:
Students nurtured their own garden, learning how to grow fresh vegetables while understanding the value of healthy eating and sustainability.
Class 7 – Plant Nursery:
From seed germination to caring for saplings, students experienced the journey of plant growth, developing patience and responsibility.
Class 8 – Hydroponics:
Exploring modern techniques, students grew plants without soil using hydroponics, discovering innovative and eco-friendly farming methods.
These activities not only build practical skills but also instill teamwork, environmental awareness, and scientific thinking in our young learners.

To commemorate World Heritage Day students of Classes VI–VIII participated in an educational activity comprising a presentation on the Sundarbans. The session included a video showcasing its diverse flora and fauna, underscoring the ecological significance of mangroves and the effects of climate change on the region. Students further examined practical measures to contribute to the conservation of such vital ecosystems.

The programme comprised an evocative English poem, a soulful Hindi poem, a thought-provoking skit emphasising the preservation of our invaluable heritage, a melodious group song, and an eloquent speech.
