Public policy only creates impact when people understand it.

Over the past nine months, Dr. Imran Amin, Associate Professor and Director of the Case Study and Research Centre at ISPP, led intensive training sessions for four batches of Group A and Group B Indian Information Service (IIS) officers at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.

Through immersive case studies, officers explored how public policies are designed, why specific policy instruments are chosen, the trade-offs they involve, and how governance decisions shape citizens’ lives.

At ISPP, we believe stronger governance begins with stronger policy capacity across samaaj, sarkar, and bazaar. Collaborations like these bring academic rigour into public service, helping strengthen policy communication where it matters most.

What happens when passion meets opportunity?

For Mayuri Anegondi (PDM Class of 2024), the journey began at ISPP with a commitment to creating impact through public policy.

As a recipient of the Cheistha Kochhar Scholarship, she immersed herself in exploring the intersections of law, economics, social development, and health policy.

Today, after graduating from the University of Chicago, Mayuri has joined CareLumi as a Regulatory Compliance Manager, where she is helping translate complex healthcare regulations into technology-driven solutions.

We’re proud to have been a part of her journey.
