We are pleased to announce the 12th Young Scholars’ Conference (YSC) organised by the Centre for West Asian Studies (CWAS), School of International Studies, Jawaharlal Nehru University.

Theme: WANA at Crossroads: Geopolitical Alignments, Societal Transformation and Economic Complexities

📅 23–24 April 2026

The conference invites undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral scholars to engage with contemporary political, economic, and social transformations in the West Asia and North Africa (WANA) region within an evolving multipolar global order.
