We take this moment to salute the countless brave lives who fought day and night for our freedom. It is this virtue of selfless service we value and strive to uphold. We honour the unparalleled legacy, the values and culture, diversity and infinite opportunities that we owe to our incredible country. Freedom is empowering, and we hope to embrace it in everything we do. We hope for liberation from everything that holds us back from pursuing excellence and realising our true potential.

The Placement Cell, Shri Ram College of Commerce, had the honour and pleasure of hosting Mr. B.N Makhija as the first guest under our initiative, Alum Diaries.

An alum of the batch of 1959, and a retired IAS officer, sir was more than elated to visit campus, interact with students and take a nostalgic trip down the memory lane. He had invaluable insights to offer through an engaging, yet candid conversation with us. His exuberance and fresh perspectives left an indelible mark on us! With over 6 decades of professional experience, and an incredibly inspiring and eventful journey, we look up to sir, and hope to take his legacy forward in the best way possible!

We extend our gratitude to Mr. B.N. Makhija for showing interest and taking out the time to reconnect with his alma mater.

When it comes to SRCC, our alumni network is one those things we value most and hold close to our hearts! Through Alum Diaries, our endeavour is to reconnect with our distinguished alumni, and engage in fruitful interactions with them.

With the aim to help students explore the field of consulting and preparing them for the placement opportunities in this domain, we are pleased to inform the Batch of 2023 that The Placement Cell is launching the Consulting Club Mentorship Program, an initiative that unravels the world of Consulting.

This Program shall facilitate students' preparation for consulting job opportunities and sase interviews by explicating the concepts of consulting, including guesstimates and cases.
